This one bedroom apartment has a superb beachfront location and is in the tourist centre of the capital making it the perfect holiday base. 3 minute stroll along the promenade to centre and close to the motorway ensures easy access to the rest of the Island. The complex offers a swimming pool with direct sea access (loungers & towels provided), 24 hr reception, in-door parking, on-site minimarket, foyer bar, poolside restaurant, squash court, lounge with snooker table & small library. An abundance of fine restaurants, Casino, Irish and English Pubs, Churches and the beautiful Catarina Park can be found in the immediate surrounding area.

Notes on prices
The apartment is available on a weekly basis only from Monday to Monday and prices are calculated per week and charged in UK pounds. A nightly rate may be considered subject to dates. Bookings can be secured by email. Payment is due 90 days before commencement date of reservation. In addition a £100 refundable deposit against damages and breakages. Please take note of basic rate for two persons with additional cost per person in addition to.
Changeover day
Monday is changeover day. Arrival from 4pm and Departure by 10am. For dates outside of a Monday or additional days, please contact us.

Accessibility
Property is suitable for people with mobility problems & wheelchair users as everywhere is accessible by lifts and ramps.
Outside
Balcony is off the lounge, comfortably furnished with table and chairs to allow outside dining. The balcony offers amazing views; the blue of Atlantic Ocean by day and beautiful sunsets by night. Shared heated swimming pool with access to the sea.
Coast/Beach
This city apartment complex is on the sea and has direct access to the sea.
There are only one or two sandy beach areas in Madeira, the majority are pebble beaches which have lido areas to swim from.
Golf
Madeira has two super golf courses: one located at Palheiro just 15 mins by car and the other at Santo da Serra about 25 mins away. You can also take the ferry to Porto Santo island which has 8 kilometers of beautiful sandy beach and a good golf course. As it is an all year round destination, it is good for golfers at any time of the year.
Travel
Funchal airport. It takes approximately 25 minutes to reach the apartment complex. The airport is about 10 miles east of Funchal. An Aerobus service runs between the airport, Funchal city centre and the Lido area every 90 minutes or so for a fare of €7. Passengers on TAP Portugal travel free from the airport, on production of a boarding pass for an inbound flight. Taxi rates from the Airport to Funchal 1- 6 persons with luggage: 4 pax = €30 - 5 pax = €35 - 6 pax = €45.
Distances
The city centre is only a few minutes walk away and is full of Art Galleries, Museums, starting point for the cable car to Monte. Just 5 minutes from the harbour area where sea trips are available every day. Fishing trips also available The fishing village of Camara de Lobos is well worth a visit on the way to Cabo Girao the highest sea cliff in Europe.
The sea water swimming pools at Porto Moniz are truly special. Take a guided tour, go by local bus or take a taxi who will be your own guide.
Further details
There is a small supermarket on site. There are several restaurants in the local area - just mins away. Banks and shops are found in the town centre just 5 mins walk away. We can arrange a tour of the island for you or suggest places to eat out. One restaurant coming highly recommended is Vila da Rocha at Livramento Funchal. They offer a pick up service to our guests.
Booking notes
Confirmation of booking is secured by email. Prices are based on 2 sharing with an additional £50 per person for guests over 12 yrs old. Full payment may be made immediately on confirmation of reservation or latest 90 days before commencement date of stay. If the payment plan is not suitable for you please contact us by email. A refundable Breakage Deposit Fee of £100 is also charged when booking to cover any damage or breakages in the apartment - refunded after departure.

The apartment was very good and totally fulfilled our needs.The weather was also very good. We are now back home, back to the grind with lovely memories.
We had a great time. It is a really great location and hope to return very soon.
Well, back down to earth with a bump after a lovely time in Madeira. Time to plan next year’s trip back!!
