Good sunny location to stay and, visit other areas of the Island with good access to the road network to the Forest and High Plateau of Paul da Serra.

Notes on prices
The rental rate is or 2 people sharing, there is an additional charge of £30/€45 per person per week up to a maximum of 4 people. Children under the age of 12 yrs. with parents/guardian, stay at no extra charge. Children between 12 and 16 yrs staying with parents/guardian are charged at £15/€22 eur per child per week.

Accessibility
The property has not been specially constructed or adapted for wheelchair users. Entry in to the building can be either by the stairs leading to the main from door to the apartment complex which has a voice and video camera entry system. Alternatively by the garage door this opens and closes by a remote control device (provided with the door keys). All the floors in the building are accessible by a lift.
Outside
To the side of the apartment building there is a communal garden and shared terrace area for outdoor eating - this area is shared with other tenants in the building so please clean up after you have finished enjoying using it. A few steps away are a municipal tennis court.
Coast/Beach
Ponta Do Sol has a pebble beach about 5 minutes walk from the apartment with beach side Cafe. The small fishing village of Magdalena do Mar is about 5 minutes drive away. The Golden sandy beach in the nearby town of Calheta is about 10 minutes drive and had showers, changing rooms facilities, Cafes/Restaurants, a Marina with various shops. The Village of Ribeira Brava is 5 minutes drive away and, has outdoors children Swimming Pool by the beach + a wide variety of cafes, restaurants and shops.
Golf
Palheiro Golf is about 25 minutes journey by car.
Travel
The Funchal Airport is at 40 min. drive and 20 min from the City Funchal. Taxi Airport transfers from and to the airport can be arranged on request at the time of booking at extra charge paid locally.
We recommend renting a car to have more freedom to explore the Island. Taxi and Bus stop are only 5 min walk. There is a Bus Network please check time tables when you arrive. Excursions around the Island are also available from different tour operators. Flights available from TAP, Easyjet.
Further details
A small shopping center just a 5 min walk, with local restaurants, takeaway, cafes, mini-market, beauty salon, bank, news agent, Internet access for a small fee.
Booking notes
A minimum 50% deposit fee is payable at the time of booking, the balance is payable 6 weeks prior traveling out to Madeira. If a booking is made less than 6 weeks prior to the travel date the full amount payable is required at time of the booking and can only be accepted after payment is received. There is a refundable deposit of £150 - for damages, breakages, door keys and garage door remote control.
