Outside
Madeira is famous for its exquisite gardens and this property is no exception; they are maintained to the highest standard and the apartment overlooks the main green which, in turn, overlooks the sea. Parking is also available in the grounds of the property.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach with swim friendly cove is a 2 min walk down the hill. There is also a much more secluded beach to the left of the property (slightly more adventurous 3 min walk), which barely has a person on it in the height of summer and is great if you like to hide away.
Golf
Palheiro golf course is only 7km away or 15mins by car. Classic hills, ridges, deep valleys and thoroughfares have all been incorporated into the terrain to produce a dramatically interesting course, with stunning views. Arrangements can easily be made for our clients at the Club (bookings, etc) as well as a free, informal chat with the local British golf captain and his wife, great if you would like a more in depth guide. Also, the spectacular 27-hole Santo da Serra golf course (also known as Campo de Golfe, part of the PGA European Tour) is within easy reach - 13km away. This is Madeira’s oldest golf course. It sits high up on a plateau and is marvelously scenic with inspirational views back up the mountains and out over the Atlantic below.
Travel
The only airport in Madeira is named Funchal Airport. The apartment is 10 mins drive away, although you do not see or hear any aeroplanes.
Distances
Canico town is a 2 min car ride away, and Funchal City is 10 mins by car. Bars and restaurants are within walking distance as are two large hotels with evening entertainment.

Reis Magos is located in Canico de Baixo, the popular tourist area on the rugged sunny south coast of Madeira. 10 mins either side from Funchal and the airport its ideally located for easy access to both. More peaceful than Funchal, this is a real get away from it all holiday. Famous for its levada walks, beautiful gardens and fantastic landscapes, Madeira is a haven for those seeking peace and quiet. Within the local area you will find restaurants, cafes, shopping malls, boutiques, bars and hotels as well as many beaches, long walks and sporting activities. For those of you looking for a night out, the Casino de Madeira, located in Funchal, produces a fantastic floor show of west end standard. Enjoy a four course meal with live band dancing afterwards. 'What more could you ask for, waking up in the morning with the sound of the sea and the heat of the sun on you. That is what you get when you stay at this apartment. From the photos we were expecting something pretty, but nothing prepared us for just how gorgeous this place is. The photos don't do it justice :-) The apartment is a great size, clean, and with all mod cons. We did not even go out on a couple of occasions as the balcony is lovely enough to sit back on with a cocktail or a glass of Madeiran wine :) We really did feel at home there, and waking up to seeing the ocean from bed was inspiring in it's own!
