Notes on accommodation
There is only 5 floors in the building and the apartment is on the top floor. There is a lift to carry you up and down. The apartment has roughly 90 square meters. During the whole day there is all ways brightness all over the apartament.

Accessibility
Children are not allowed, pets not allowed, wheelchair inaccessible, not suitable for people with mobility problems.
Outside
On the balconies there is a set of 4 wooden chairs and a wooden table to relax. Also two sunbed chairs to catch some sun. The views are excellent over the sea and you have also the chance to see still the agriculters working on the terraces surrounding the apartment. It is the sort of location that makes you feel in peace of mind and admire the landscape without being isolated from what is happening in the island.

Property distance to the sea is only 200 meters.
Golf
The two golf courses in Madeira island are about 20 to 30 minutes driving from the apartment, which is very handy for golfers.
Special interest holidays
We leave for our guests, during their stay, some literature about the highlights of our breathtaking island, namely a flowers book, the levadas and footpaths of Madeira to discover the lush vegetation and amazing landscape of the island, an insight view book over the interesting spots and traditions, a phrase book to teach you some potuguese language, a map of the whole island for your directions, a bus timetable to and from Funchal city. All in order to help you to take the best advantage of your holidays.
Travel
From Madeira international airport to the apartment it is approximately 15 kms, or about 10 to 15 minutes driving by car. We can arrange a transfer for two people in a Mercedes sprinter bus with a qualified driver for the total price of 20 euros. Rent-a-car is not essential, because there is a very efficient and frequent bus timetable to Funchal city center. Of course, if you wish to be more independent, then I recommend the hiring of a car. Please, check our very competitive car rates.
Further details
The local shops are open all day long untill 19:00 hours, the restaurants are there for you every day, supermarkets close late in the evening, about 22:00 hours, banks timetable is from 8:30 to 15:00 hours Monday to Friday. Among the highlights of Funchal is the picturesque old town with excellent restaurants for a romantic dinner, the farmers market to show you the variety of fish we have, sub-tropical fruits and flowers in the island, wine lodges, the Cathedral, the cable car, the tobogan ride from Monte village, catamaran trips to watch the dolphins, whales and turtles, plenty of gardens such as the Botanical Garden, Monte Palace tropical gardens, Orchid gardens, the municipal gardens, etc.
Booking notes
We recommend you to book in advance, however last minute bookings are accepted. When you wish to proceed with your booking we ask you kindly for a deposit of 200 euros of the rental rate in order to confirm your booking and the remaining balance is due to be paid upon your arrival day. To appreciate your booking you will receive a welcome pack upon arrival that consists of 1 botle of Madeira wine, 1 honey cake, 1 botle of champagne and a pocket map.
