Our Villa has its own private, south facing, salt water swimming pool (9m x 4m) and beautiful sea views, with tiled patio bathing area, sun beds, umbrellas and outside shower. Pool towels are also provided. NB: Swimming Pool access is via steps down to the lower level and the pool will not be shared by 2 different parties. All of the berooms are large and spacious and have large king-sized double beds with special matresses of high resilience foam to ensure an excellent nights sleep. The living room has a private balcony with amazing sea views, perfect for those evening drinks when all the village lights come on below. The large family kitchen has a large solid wood kitchen table and chairs, microwave, cooker and fridge/freezer and a very well stocked selection of pans & cooking utensils. Notes on accommodation
From July 1st 2012, there will be an additional dinning area available which includes a large 8 seater table. NB: The villa will be rented as either a 3/4 bedroom villa or a 6 bedroom villa, therefore the swimming pool will not be shared by 2 different parties/groups. The second living area comprises of 2 living rooms (with Cable TV), 3 large double/twin bedrooms, bathroom and shower room, two private patios and a large kitchen with built-in internal barbecue, . Whilst this living area is completely separate from the first floor, with it’s own entrances, it also has an interconnecting mahogany staircase to the first floor with lockable door.

Location Information: Calheta is a short 5 minute drive from our Villa and this lovely small seaside town boasts Madeira's only golden sand beach, which is excellently maintained. In the town you will find the newly built boating Marina with promenade containing some local restaurants. Lovely for an evening stroll. There is also a large supermarket selling fresh fish, fresh meat and fresh locally produced fruit and vegetables. There is also a bank, church and some lovely local restaurants. The biggest festival in Calheta is St John's (São João) day which is held on the week of July 24. The town is decorated with lights and strings of coloured paper flowers and parades are held with live music & traditional food stalls. A Madeiran experience not to be missed!
