Our two tourist approved, fully furnished spacious one bedroom apartments are located on the sunny south west of the island, overlooking the village of Arco Da Calheta with its many banana plantations, the perfect place to enjoy your holiday. The apartments are 70m from a local viewpoint, 100m away from the nearest coffee bar; also across the road from the coffee bar there is a fruit and vegetables store and 250m from a well-stocked mini market where you can purchase local fresh bread in the morning and again at 4pm in the afternoon.

Changeover day
Whilst the owners make every effort to be flexible with flight times, as a general rule the rental period shall commence at 2pm on the day of arrival and finish at 10am on the day of departure.

| The fully equipped open plan kitchen has a microwave, fridge/freezer and coffee maker. The spacious open plan lounge has a corner suite with a folding out bed, the bedroom has a double bed fitted wardrobes, mirror and access to the south facing balcony, cable TV DVD/CD player and the large patio doors give access to the balcony with a table and chairs where you can enjoy a meal, surrounded by a stunning view over the village of Arco. There is a laundry room, with washing machine, drying frame, iron and ironing board. The fully fitted bathroom has a shower over bath, mirror with power points for shaver and a hairdryer. Outside
Outside we have a small garden for guests with chairs, tables sunbeds and swing.
Coast/Beach
Casa Serena is a 5 minute drive from Calheta village with beach, marina, supermarket, hotel, restaurants and shops.
Travel
Funchal the capital is 25km, 25 minute journey. 50km, 40 minute journey to the airport.
Distances
Located below Casa Serena is a hotel which is open to non- residences there is a path way down to the hotel, around 10 minute walk, the village of Arco da Calheta is a 15 minute walk where you will find a post office, café bars, chemist and various shops.
Booking notes
1. To make a reservation the client should pay the 20% non-refundable deposit, which confirms the booking and a receipt and contract is then issued to the client.
2. The balance of the hire is payable not less than 5 weeks before the start of the hire period. The owners can sometimes accommodate late bookings in which case the full amount should be paid.
