Spacious, modern 2 bedded with pool, garden and views. The apartment is newly decorated and furnished and is bright and sunny. With an attractive, fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. There is a large lounge/diner with TV and terrace. This is a bright, sunny and spacious property in a prestigious, gated development. The development is secure, private and has underground parking, a lift, pool with loungers and a garden. It is literally only a few minutes downhill walk to all amenities so you don't have to have a car, especially as cabs are cheap. We can arrange airport pick ups and drop offs, cleaners and welcome packs.
There is cable TV in the living room giving 95 channels including BBC channels and many other European and American channels. There is also a DVD player that will play both music CDs and DVDs. We have left around 30 movies in the apartment for those that fancy a night in.

Changeover day
Our booking days are completely flexible but if there are guests arriving on the day you depart we would respectfully request that you are able to vacate the apartment by 10.00am to allow the cleaners to get in prior to the next guests arrival.

Outside
Shared pool, gardens. Sun loungers are around the pool in season other wise there are grassy areas to sit and lay on.
Coast/Beach
The waterfront can be reached within a 10-12 minute walk of the apartment. The beaches and lidos can be reached in no time via an easy car or cab ride.
Golf
There are some lovely golf courses in Madeira and the nearest Las Palmettos is only a 15 minute drive away.
Travel
Funchal airport is only 25 minutes away. We can arrange a pick up for you.
There is a space for a hire car in the underground parking garage but we always use cabs as they are cheap.
Distances
The apartment is in an amazing location right in the heart of everything. You can walk to the shops, bars, restaurants, port, cable car and market. Cab ranks and buses are nearby.
All the top hotels with the Atlantic view restaurants are only a close cab ride away.
Further details
Funchal is a safe, friendly destination and there is a large choice of leisure activities to choose from: Whale and dolphin watching, beaches, lido swimming, boating trips, levada walks, great shopping, fine dining with lots of fish specialities, mountain safaris, golf, tennis, fishing and big game fishing just to name a few. We ask that you use anything left in the kitchen but replace for the next guests, especially things like washing powder, dishwasher tablets etc. Hopefully in theory this should make everybody's holiday a little easier.
Booking notes
We require £100 per week non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The remainder would be payable two weeks prior to travel. We would be grateful if guests could arrange to depart from the apartment by 10am on departure day. Extensions can be arranged if there are no early arrivals on the day. As we live in Hong Kong a direct bank transfer would be preferred for all payments. Failing this a cheque is acceptable, but we unfortunately have to charge an extra £4 per cheque for bank charges.

The rooms are generously sized for a one-bedroom flat. The beds are comfortable, and there is plenty of space for clothes.
