The main house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 fully equipped kitchen, 1 small lounge, an open large terrace with sunbeds and mobile BBQ. The apartment can accommodate 4 people, with 1 double bedroom, a lounge with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. You can enjoy a lovely view of the sea and mountains. It's 5 minutes walk to local services, and only about 10 minutes drive to one of the best beaches of the island (Calheta golden beach). If you are an art lover you can also visit an Art Gallery nearby.

Madeira is an island with over 500 years of legacy, there are several museums and art galleries around the island one of them is in Calheta (Casa das Mudas). Several other activities within just a few minutes from the apartment.
Travel
The aeroport of Santa Catarina is the only one on the island and it is approx 45 mins from the house. We recommend hiring a car at the aeroport but keep it small. Once off the main roads Madeira roads are narrow.

Funchal City is more or less 37km from Arco da Calheta.
