On the ground floor of the Hotel-Dieu Hospital there is an old apothecary, complete with the original 18th Century wood panelling on the walls, and many of the old pots and bottles that were used there, as well as old ceramic pill boxes that were manufactured in the area. The church of St Peter was built in 1860 and has a Romanesque façade with unusual semi circular windows. Use any of the holiday rentals in Macon to tour the neighbouring areas and see the sights.
