The house is set in its own yard and garden with private parking. It has two floors each with its own entrance and fully equipped kitchen. It is built of wood and the inside reflects the owners' artistic and creative flair. It is 10 minutes walk from the large covered market with fresh food and local crafts, from the long sandy beach and all historical centres. Liepaja was once the summer resort of the Russian Tsars and the ice free port for their Baltic fleet. The white sandy beach offers numerous activities in the summer: swimming, sun bathing, collecting small pieces of amber, long walks. Liepaja is easily accessible by car, bus, train or plane. English, German, Russian, Latvian are spoken by the owners who will welcome you warmly in the Latvian style and show you round the house and your accommodation.

On the ground floor the house offers 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and a conservatory. Each bedroom has its own WC and shower room. The first bedroom has a double bed, the second a double and a single and the third has a double and a single divan bed with a bathroom with wc, bath and shower. There is a satellite television in each room and number one also has a DVD player. The large kitchen is fully equipped, with table and chairs, a fridge/freezer. There is also a washroom with a washing machine. The old fashioned conservatory offers an extra sitting area with comfortable chairs.

First floor (2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 10)

The 2 living rooms can sleep 5 people. There are 2 double beds, 1 single bed and 1 romantic separate sleeping place for 1 person on a mezanine. Each room has their own shower room and wc. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, electric cooker, washing machine. Each room has satellite television.

Notes on accommodation
The house has gas central heating and wireless internet access. Children welcome. Long term renters welcome. Smoking only allowed in the yard.
Accessibility
There is easy access for a disabled person without a wheel chair on the ground floor unit.
Outside
Outside in the yard there is a parking area and the garden offers tables and benches for outside sitting, with games such as badminton and a table tennis.
Coast/Beach
The beach is 10 minutes walk from the house (1 km).
Special interest holidays
A minibus is available with an English, German, Latvian and Russian speaking driver and very knowledgeable local guide. You can ask for guided tours round the town, the famous Karosta prison and places of interest in the Liepaja region. Bicycles are available for hire.
Travel
Liepaja is 230 km from the capital Riga, 3 hours drive by car or bus or train. There is also a plane from Riga to Liepaja airport (8 km from town centre). A car is not essential. Airport, train, bus pickup can be arranged free for Liepaja arrivals. From Riga airport the charge is approx. 90 euros.

There is a 25% non-refundable deposit at time of booking. The full balance has to be given on arrival.
