Kronoberg is located in the south of Sweden, which is home to approximately 80% of the country’s population. Less rugged than the north of the country it is still just as beautiful. There are holiday lettings in Kronoberg that offer access to stunning lakesides, and villas in Kronoberg that are within easy reach of the coast. However you choose to spend your holiday in Sweden you will find something to appeal here wherever you look.
The area is home to some fantastic golf courses - if you like to spend time on the fairways, you will find these courses challenging to play. If you are a fan of crime fiction, this is the region of the country in which Henning Mankells’s detective Kurt Wallender is set, the alleyways and streets of the books all being real places around the southern town of Ystad. Apartments in Kronoberg are a great way of getting a feel for the region and any of the holiday accommodation in Kronoberg is ideal to use as a base when you are wanting to tour the region.
Food in Sweden has changed a lot in recent years and Sweden could be described as having undergone something of a gastronomic revolution. Fine dining establishments have been springing up all over the country, and not everything is about fish!
