The villa is located between two charming local villages. This beautiful and spacious property has been completely refurbished to a high standard. The gardens are a delight and heavily scented. A large purpose built, brick, BBQ including sink, workspace and tiled dining table is housed in the garden under a vine covered gazebo. All that is needed for those wonderful al fresco evenings. Terraces to the front and rear of the property provide a shaded outside space to read or just relax with a glass of local wine.For the more adventurous travellers there are nearby 'agriturismos' to explore offering a vast selection of delicious Sardinian delicacies and an array of locally caught seafood and fine wines.Or just a ten minute drive and you are in the Historic Centre of Alghero with it's harbour, many restaurants, cafes and bars. Beautiful sandy beaches make it a paradise for sun worshippers or there is a fantastic selection of shops and boutiques for anyone in need of some retail therapy!

Bedroom 1 has double bed + double sofabed,bedroom 2 has double bed, bdrm.3 has 2 single beds,bdrm. 4 has a double bed.Double sofa bed in living area.Also 2 spare single beds for extra children + 2 cots available.Plenty of wardrobes and chests of drawers.
Bathrooms:
Fully equipped bathroom with bath, shower, sink, bidet and w.c.on first floor. Also seperate w.c. with sink and bidet on first floor. Downstairs has a wetroom with sink, bidet, w.c.and washing machine. Outside cold shower on terrace.
Kitchen:
Fully equipped free standing kitchen units house a hob and oven.Large fridge/freezer,microwave, toaster and electric kettle.The dining area has table 6 chairs and comfy sofa.
Living Rooms:
A spacious open plan living area with many sofas and armchairs also a double sofa bed.TV for DVD use only. The dining area at the end of the room has table and chairs. Lamps and subtle lighting from antique wall lights make an inviting space.
Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service:
Clean linen and towels are provided with every booking.The property cleaned after every booking.Mid stay clean available by prior arrangement.

Important notes on accommodation
The villa and pool are opened beginning of May and closed end of October.
We have an English agent who meets guests on arrival and hands them the keys.
If required there is the poossibility of sleeping an extra two people on spare single beds in one of the bedrooms. This is an optional extra and the cost is a supplement of 10% per person.

Changeover day
Changeover day flexible but weekend preferred.Check in time 2pm.checkout 10am. These times are adhered to as we need the time for cleaning and pool and garden maitainence.

Outside
The grounds extend to approx four acres, with fruit trees, olive grove, covered gazebo with BBQ and dining table. 10 X 5 metre, private swimming pool with a pink marble surround. Sun loungers and benches. The gardens are landscaped, maintained and the pool managed by a professional company.
Coast/Beach
Local beaches are a ten minute drive and are white sand,blue flag safe beaches.Ideal for children or the elderley as they are not tidal.Wind surfing and diving schools for water sport enthusiasts.Also boat trips or boat hire available.
How to get there
Alghero airport is closest being ten minutes away.Although the airport is closeby the propery is not in or near flight paths so does not suffer aircraft noise. Olbia airport is a very straight forward drive of approx.one and a half hours. Car hire is essential.
Distances
Nearest villages Fertilia or Santa Maria La Palma are a five minute drive,Alghero being a 10 minute drive.Local beaches five minutes.
Further Details
Both villages have a supermarket and Santa Maria La Palma has a post office and bank.Fertilia has good restaurants and bars and cafes.Lots of small cafes and bars all along the seafront.Many restaurants in Alghero some of which specialise in locally caught seafood,lobster etc.
Directions which may help you find the property are as follows: From Alghero airport turn right,approx.1km turn right at signpost SS291.Proceed approx 1km to end of road.Turn right proceed approx 2km to bend in road where you will see small agri-market shop on left.It is then the second house on the right.The gates are a short drive in to the property through the drive way. No 10 is on the gate post.Also a red letter box.
If required the agents can do a shop in readiness for your arrival. This incurs a cost of 10euro, payable to them.
Booking notes
50% deposit on booking balance payable four weeks prior holiday date. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer.
We require a security deposit of 100euro on arrival to be paid to the agents. This will be refunded in full if the property has been left undamaged and in good order.
