The spacious two bedroom apartment, with kitchen, bathroom and large lounge-dining room, offers many modern facilities including a dishwasher, washing machine, wide-screen TV, DVD player and microwave. For guests with small children, a cot and high-chair are available on request. The small ground-floor balcony offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, and a dedicated off-road parking space is available for guests arriving by car. Located in the small village of Parre, approximately 30km north of the city of Bergamo, the apartment is just 6km from the historic town of Clusone. Parre itself is a quiet little mountain village, undisturbed by the tourist industry, but offering plenty of amenities including an indoor swimming pool, children's play park, large supermarket, and several other local shops, bars and restaurants.

Notes on accommodation
Suitable for children, with cot and high-chair available on request at no additional charge. Full central heating, with expenses included. There is a private parking space for one car and additional public car-parking immediately adjacent to the house.
We do not permit smoking or pets in the apartment.
Accessibility
Access from the main road via a large stairway, or to the rear (where the parking space is located) via two small steps. Although the apartment is situated on ground level, it has not been specially adapted for wheelchair users.
Outside
The small ground floor balcony (patio) area is enclosed by a fence, and opens out to the rarely used off-road parking area, where a single space is provided for the apartment. Additional public off-road parking is located nearby if required.
The patio receives the sun from early morning until early evening and offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. There are collapsible chairs and a portable table just inside the lounge for use outside.
Skiing
The local ski and snowboard resorts are Presolana / Monte Pora (25km) and Colere (30km). A little further away, but still less than an hour by car, is the resort of Montecampione.
Travel
Bergamo's Orio al Serio airport is approximately 40 minutes drive from Parre. The airport is a Ryanair hub (known as Milan Bergamo on the Ryanair site), and can be reached from many of the UK's and Europe's airports for very reasonable prices.
Milan's Linate airport is approximately 80km away (just over an hour, traffic permitting) and Milan Malpensa is approximately 120km away. Verona Brescia (Montichiari) is also less than 100km from the apartment.
Distances
The village of Parre is located in the Lombardy region of Italy, approximately 30km north of the city of Bergamo.
The beautiful town of Clusone is a short (6km) drive or bus ride from Parre, and offers all kinds of boutiques, restaurants and other attractions.
Lake Garda and Gardaland are approximately 90 minutes (120km) drive from the apartment. Smaller, but no less impressive, is Lake Iseo, at just 22km from Parre.
The city of Milan is approximately 90 minutes drive from Parre.
