Surrounded by vine covered rolling hills with views to the Italian Alps, Monforte is one of the most beautiful villages in the famous Langhe region. Walking distance to an abundance of restaurants, wine cellars ‘cantinas’, bars, galleries and places of interest. Monforte is connected to the surrounding villages by 7 walkways which enable you to meander through the wines. The cottage has been beautifully restored maintaining the ancient stone ceilings and original features whilst offering all the modern necessities such as dishwashers, TV’s, blue ray DVD players and coffee machines.

About the owner
We are a young Australian family that came to Italy 3 years ago, fell in love with the place and have been here ever since. Our two young daughters now go to the local school and are fluent in Italian and our lives revolve around the seasonal festivities of the Langhe area. We now live in the village of Barolo and run cycling and gastronomic tours to take advantage of all the beauty of the area. So come to the area, you can stay in our lovely cottage and if you want we can tailor a gastronomic or cycling tour for you to really get the most out of this area!
