A 4 bedroom (all with aircon), 3 bathroom house with private pool that is set within 1/3rd of an acre overlooking the village of Castel Frentano. 15 minutes from the unspoilt Adriatic Sea and 45 minutes from Roman ski resorts. This house has recently been totally renovated to the highest standard with all modern facilities including wifi internet access. The house sits overlooking the hill village of Castel Frentano with its bars, shops and cafes, where it is possible to relax and get a taste of real Italian life.

Changeover day is Saturday with arrival after 2.30 pm and departure before 10.30 am.

The villa is ideal for couples and families with bedroom accommodation spaced out over 2 floors.
Having been totally restored and refurbished the standard and quality is excellent.

Car hire essential. Nearest airport is Pescara (45 minutes away), Rome airports are just over 2 hours away.

Tony is a mid 40s sales director from Chester UK. Lynne is an interior designer with her own business. We bought the house in 2004 and spent 18 months doing it up. We are married with two young girls Kate aged 12 and Megan aged 10.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We wanted to buy a house in an undiscovered part of Italy & Abruzzo really fitted the bill. You can literally go 2 weeks without hearing anyone else speaking English. The scenery is just fantastic, not quite as rolling as Tuscany, but all the bright colours you expect of Italy in summer. Having the mountains 30 minutes one way and the coast 30 minutes the other is what we always wanted & we've got it. Siamo molto fortunati!
Unique benefits of the property
Every year we discover a little bit more as the girls get older. Their current favourites are Aqualand at Vasto, snorkeling at La Foce and Go Ape! at Bocca di vallee.
Me, I prefer cooking a meal and getting a few local friends round for a couple beers, tasting a few Jamie Oliver dishes and ending up playing a few tunes on the guitar...
