Villa Rosa is a 200 year old Liberty Villa. We have just completed a 5 year ground up restoration of the property – retaining all the original features while installing modern wiring, plumbing and central heating. The five bedrooms are laid out as four doubles and a twin. The centerpiece is a magnificent master bedroom with triple aspect, balcony and en suite. There are a further 2 bathrooms. Downstairs is a double reception with original fireplace and French windows to the garden, a large family kitchen with integrated dishwasher, fridge and washing machine and a dining room comfortably seating 10. The house is furnished with period furniture and fully equipped – including satellite television, video and DVD, Playstation, HiFi.

Notes on accommodation
We have x 2 travel cots and highchairs available for families with young children. We also have a stair gate, baby changing mat and baby bath along with child/baby paddling pool. All available upon request. We also have a large selection of board games, Playstation and garden games.

Large, lanscaped gardens comprising lawns, with private pool (11m x 5m). Seating and outdoor dining facilities.
Coast/Beach
45 mins drive from the international beach resorts of Viareggio and Forti Di Marmi. Italian Riviera around 1 hour away.
Skiing
Skiing at Abetone - 45 mins drive.
Travel
The villa is a 45 mins to 1hr drive from Pisa airport. Car hire recommended.
Distances
The villa is 1.5kms from Valdottavo - a charming village with coffee shops, bars, pizzeria, bakery, newsagent, green grocer, butcher, delicatessan, chemist, bank and bus service to Lucca. Lucca itself is an easy 10 min drive. En route to Lucca is a Carrefour hypermarket. Dozens of restaurants within a short drive.
Further details
Most of the major sites of Tuscany are easily accessible - Florence 1 hour, Pisa 40 mins, Chiantishire 1 hour. The surrounding countryside offers abundant opportunities for walking, climbing, cycling.

30% deposit on booking. Full balance 6 weeks prior to departure. 30% refundable security deposit for breakages required one week prior to departure.

Dear Karen The Villa Rosa is the perfect place to unwind. It is beautifully furnished to a high standard. We could not fault the place. All of the recommendations of places to dine by the owners, lived up to our expectations and beyond. In particular, The Butterfly, which we visited a few times in our two week stay, will have a lasting memory. The beaches at Viareggio are most beautifully kept, not to mention the lovely shopping.
The owners of the villa were a delight. From the initial booking through to the many recommendations they offered, and prompt answering of any queries raised, we could not have asked for a better service.
