Aboca Cinque is a beautifully restored stone farmhouse is situated on the slopes of the Alpe della Luna in the unspoilt north-eastern corner of Tuscany, offering panoramic views of the upper Tiber Valley. The house is surrounded by a hectare of grounds with a large swimming pool, pool house and 3 outdoor seating areas. It is walking distance from one of the region's best restaurants and 10 minutes drive from the market town of Sansepolcro which offers all the amenities: supermarkets, small specialist shops, banks, restaurants, twice weekly market etc.

Changeover day
Saturdays: Arrivals between 4 and 8pm. Departures before 10am.

Linen and towels are included and changed weekly. House is cleaned weekly, additional cleaning by arrangement.

Notes on accommodation
House has been recently restored in traditional materials to the highest specifications with barrel vaulted or exposed beam and tile ceilings. The house is elegantly decorated with traditional antique or reproduction furnishings, including handmade wrought iron beds in most bedrooms. The living rooms and one bedroom are on the ground floor, other bedrooms on the first floor are reached by a interior stone staircase. There is an annex close to the main house.

There are gardens of one hectare with lawns, fruit trees, a newly-planted olive grove and a 12x5m solar heated pool. The pool has a stone terrace with stunning views. It is equipped with sun loungers and umbrella. There are 2 further terraces. The annex dining terrace with marble-topped table seating 10 and the kitchen terrace with small wooden table and chairs shaded by a flower-covered pergola.

Coast/Beach
The Adriatic coast, with beaches at Rimini and Riccione, is about 90 mins drive away.

Nearest airports are Perugia 45 mins, Bologna-Forli 75 mins, Florence 1.5 hrs, Bologna 2 hrs, Pisa 2hrs, Rome (Ciampino) 2.5 hrs.

Further details
The house is situated among oak and chestnut woods on the slopes of the Alpe della Luna (Mountains of the Moon). There are numerous footpaths through the national park which can be accessed directly from the house. Nearby, Sansepolcro is the birthplace of Piero della Francesca, many of his best works may be seen in the Museo Civico, as well as in the museums of Monterchi, Urbino and Arezzo. Further afield there are the delights of the region's many medieval hill towns and villages, such as Anghiari and Cortona. St Francis has many local connections; his long-time home La Verna and Assisi itself are close by. The splendours of Siena and Florence are within reach for a day's sightseeing. Sansepolcro has supermarkets, specialist food shops, banks, bars, restaurants, a market on Tuesdays and Saturdays, excellent clothes shops. Take part in the evening ritual 'la passegiata,' when the whole town comes out to stroll along the main street.
