Casita Gabriele - The house has recently been restored using local materials to a very high standard. It has been totally rewired, has new plumbing and a whole new central heating system. It is perfect for the Summer with the old stone walls keeping the house cool and ideal for the Winter with a very efficient central heating system and an open fire in the lounge. It is in the village of Montedinove which is near to the large town of Montalto. The village of Montedinove has a shop, a chemist and a small hotel with a superb restuarant. It also has a really lovely village square with a great bar. The town of Montalto, which is two minutes away by car and a 15 minute walk, has many different shops and banks and a great open market every Wednesday. The coast is only 20 minutes away and there are superb child friendly beaches and fantastic fish restuarants. The mountains and great ski slopes are only 30 minutes away where you can hire ski equipment and take ski lessons.

| Bedrooms: |
There are two good sized double bedrooms. One with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The third room is a good sized sinlge room. |
| Bathrooms: |
An excellent feature of this house are the two bathrooms one with a shower and bath and the other with a shower.
One is on the first floor and the other on the fourth floor near to the terrace and balcony. |
| Kitchen: |
The kitchen has been totally refurbished with exposed beans and 300 year old brick work. There are new kitchen units with built in hob and oven and a fridge freezer. |
| Living Rooms: |
In the living room there is a log fire, two arm chairs and a lovely leather sofa. There is TV with DVD and large selection of DVDs. In the lounge there is also a Hi Fi sytem. The lounge has fantastic views. |

Outside
One of the unique features of this house are the 2 outside areas. There is a balcony at the back of the house with amazing views of the Le Marche countryside. The balcony also has a built-in outdoor barbecue. The large terrace at the front of the house is ideal for sunbathing and eating al fresco. Both the outside areas have lights so they can be enjoyed at night.
Coast/Beach
As our house is near the coast there is plenty of opportunity in the summer months to go to the beach to sunbathe and swim. The waters along the coast are very good for children as there are man made barriers which limit the depth of the water. Our nearest beaches are Grottamare, Cupra Marritima and San Benedetto.
Golf
There is a nine hole golf course 20 minutes from the house.
Skiing
During the winter months as we are about half an hour from the mountains there is plenty of opportunity to go skiing. Skiing in Le Marche is very reasonably priced and you can hire everything you need and take ski lessons if need be.
Travel
The two nearest airports are Ancona and Pescara which are about an hour away. Rome and Bologna are about 3 hours away.
Further details
Le Marche is a very undiscovered region of Italy and one full of breathtaking scenery and beautiful hilltop towns and villages. There are very few foreign people in this area and one very much undiscovered by the Italians. During the summer the coast is busy but never over crowded. During the winter all the towns and villages in the mountains and by the coast are very quiet. This is a perfect place for those people who want to unwind and immerse them selves in Italy and all that Italy and Le Marche have to offer.
As well as the small hill tops and lovely coastal towns there are a number of other tourist attractions. About an hour and a half from our house are the caves of Frassai. These were discovered in 1971 and are very much worth a visit. The formations of stalactites and stalagmites are fabulous. About two hours from the house is the principality of San Marino. This is a hilltop town just past Ancona which is well worth a visit. Other towns worth visiting are Fermo, Ascoli Piceno and Jesi. These are larger towns where there are more shops and some stunning buildings.The mountains near to the house are the Sibilini and are about thirty minutes from us.
