A large family house in the Umbrian style: stone floors, tiled ceilings, soft tempora colours and wonderful views. Leading from the kichen there is a walled garden where you can eat under a pergola of roses and grapevines. There are two sitting rooms with plenty of books, films music and games for the evenings and during hot days we are happily a 10 minute drive from 'Club Pattol' with its 3 pools, sports faciliites - plus bar and food - all beautifully cared for by nice staff. Most importantly, Casamincio is only 6 kilometres from the E45 and a perfect base to explore the extraordinary art and history of the Medieval hill towns of Umbria: Perugia, Assissi, Todi, Spoleto and Orvieto are all within easy reach. Nor is it difficult to drive to Terontola and have a daytrip by train to Florence or Rome.

There are several good restaurants nearby. There are banking (ATM) facilities at about 5 minutes' drive. Supermarkets at Pierantonio and Umbertide.
Booking notes
20% deposit to reserve the property, balance due at eight weeks before the rental start date. Security deposit (Euro 150) payable in cash on arrival and refunded on departure (subject to breakages and additional costs incurred). Additional deposit required for heating (if used) during the cooler months.
