Notes on prices
Prices quoted for the apartment include all linens and towels and all central heating, hot water and electricity. We provide a generous welcome pack for you with all the essentials ie. bread, butter, sugar, tea, coffee, pasta, wine, fruit, oil, etc. so you dont need to worry about shopping till you are well settled. If your dates are flexible please contact us as we usually have odd dates that need to be filled we will offer a reduced rate

Casa Lillà Bed and Breakfast

At Casa Lillà bed and breakfast we have three large double bedrooms, Il Sole, La Luna, & Le Stelle, all en-suit. All of our bedrooms have thermostatic controlled central heating, (controls in the rooms) and the best quality linens and towels. Our guests have full use of our dining room which is centrally heated and has a wood burning stove which we light in the winter months. We provide a large library of books, DVD movies, cards and board games, we also have high speed wireless internet access throughout the house and a PC in our breakfast room. The private garden / patio can be accessed from the dining room. We source local produce for our breakfasts and cater for all tastes with quality foods and beverages. Our pastries and bread come fresh from the local bakery each morning and we only serve REAL coffee, of course you can have tea if you prefer. As well as pastries we serve cereals, juice, fruit, bread, jams & yoghurts, we also offer hot options for an extra charge.

Casa Lillà Apartment

Casa Lillá apartment is on the ground floor and is a spacious self contained 2-bedroom apartment. It has its own entrance off the garden and patio and is 97 sq.m. (1044 sq.ft.). It has 2 large double bedroom, both with beautiful new en-suit bathrooms. The dining/kitchen area is very spacious with a wood burning stove and as with all the rooms in the apartment is centrally heated with thermostat controls in each room. The kitchen is well equipped with 4 ring gas hob, freezer/fridge, washing machine, grill, oven, microwave and lots of dishes, cutlery, pots pans, etc, everything you could possibly need.

Notes on accommodation
La Luna (the Moon room) is a large, bright and comfortable room with original wooden beamed ceiling; located on the ground floor it is 28.2 sq. meters (304 sq. feet) in total and our largest bedroom. La Luna has a king-size double bed but can also is arranged as a twin bed room if requested. As with all our rooms there is a digital satellite TV (with English, Italian, German, Spanish and French channels) and a DVD player.
Le Stelle (the Stars room) is the smallest of our bedrooms but still larger than most 3 or 4 star hotel rooms. Le Stelle is located on the ground floor with original wooden beamed ceiling and its en suit bathroom has been built in the old tunnel that runs through Casa Lillá. If the stories are true this tunnel was originally part of an escape tunnel from the Palazzo Federico Cesi which is situated a few hundred meters away from Casa Lillá ! Le Stelle is 20.3 sq. meters (219 sq. feet) in total.

Outside
Together with the apartment you have the use of the garden and patio located just off the dining room. There is a table and chairs and we can supply a BBQ. Casa Lillá bed and breakfast is in the town of Acquasparta and it is only a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants, bars and cafes, the pub is only a few minutes walk away too. There is parking outside on the road and it is very safe. The comunal pool complex is 15 mins walk or 5 mins drive from Casa Lillá and is open from June to end of August and there is a charge for entry.

Coast/Beach
Being in the center of Italy it is about the same distance to either side and the coast, about 1 and half to 2 hours drive.

Travel
Casa Lillá is very easy to get to. From either of Rome's two airports Fumicino (Leonardo DaVinci Int.) or Ciampino, Casa Lillá is just over an hours drive (100km) or 50 mins by train to Terni. Ciampino is served by the low cost carriers such as easyjet and ryanair. Ryanair have direct flights from Stansted airport in England to Perugia in Umbria, which is only 35 mins away by car.
It is not necessary to hire a car for your visit as Acquasparta has a local train station.

Distances
Acquasparta, a small town of population approx. 5000 is situated very close to the better known towns of Todi, Spoleto, Orvieto and Terni, to name but a few. It is a vibrant, alive town with a good range of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and even a pub, it also a good mix of age groups and families. Todi, Spoleto & Terni are all 20km (15/20min drive) Perugia is 40km (30 min drive) Assisi is 60km, Orvieto is 50km, Rome is 100km (1 hour by train and easy to do as a day trip) Trevi is 30km.

Further details
Casa Lillá is built onto the old town walls of Acquasparta and it is only a few minutes walk up through the old town alleys into the 'centro storica' the historic center of Acquasparta. There you will find lots of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and there is even a pub which is unusual for small Italian towns, one of the owners is a fantastic cook and he does a fish menu on Thursdays, which you have to book for and is a treat. Casa Lillá is a perfect base for exploring this wonderful region of Italy and all the wonderful cities, towns and villages of Umbria can be easily reached for day trips. It is also very easy to take the train to Rome for a day trip, it is only 50mins on the Eurostar and is very cheap, a great way to see the sights of Rome without the hassle of having to stay there.
