With panoramic views across surrounding vineyards, it is a peaceful haven in this modern world whilst the small town of Canale is just 3km away. All rooms are bright and well-appointed and furnished with care and attention. The wooden-beamed and traditional vaulted ceilings, together with exposed brick and stonework and the welcoming hospitality make an ideal place for a break given over to relaxation. All rooms have either their own balconies or direct access to the large sun terrace with views across the surrounding vineyards. Breakfast, based on local products, is served either in the house’s main kitchen with its own panoramic views, the adjacent dining area or, (weather permitting), on one of the terraces. Anyone who loves reading will take to relaxing in either the library/TV room or the spacious sitting room with its own wood-burning stove.

Guest comments
‘We flew direct from Bristol to Geneva and had a spectacular drive to Casa Maria. What a wonderful undiscovered area this is. Our first visit to this part of Italy and we couldn't do or see everything we wanted in our week here, so we'll be back next year’ - Pat & Brian Dann (Bristol) -
‘Whilst staying at Casa Maria, a delivery driver pulled up and just stared open-mouthed at the view, he slowly looked at the house then back at the view and just said quietly to himself ‘"bel posto, bel posto…’ from what I gather, this is Italian for ‘what a place, what a place’ - he wasn't wrong’ - Michael Evans (Ipswich)
‘I was here for a week and barely moved out of my spot on the terrace. It was so peaceful and quiet I just didn't want to do anything else other than read and soak up the sun’ - Tina Sykes (Leicester)
