Accessibility
Whilst we like to encourage everyone to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Villa Sibillini, the house is not suitable for wheelchairs. Most of our rooms are on the first floor and as it was an old farmhouse there is no provision or space for a lift. Situated on the side of a very steep hill our grounds are a little uneven and again not suitable for wheelchairs.
Outside
The garden surrounds the house and includes a large car park. There are many fruit trees, a wild and wooded area to explore, especially for youngsters who delight in making their own camp away from the adults. Ongoing landscaping provides much interest for returning guests. We have added a large portico this year and decks equipped with hammocks next to the pool. Tables and chairs are provided for outdoor dining plus sun loungers and a barbeque. The small pool is kidney shaped (approx 8 metres long - not heated and open May to September) and overlooks the mountains. There are shady areas for those not wishing to indulge in sunbathing, as well as umbrellas and a swinging chair. Take breakfast al fresco, lunch in the shade and dinner under the stars.
Coast/Beach
The Adriatic resort of Civitanova is just 30 minutes away by car. The sandy beaches stretch for miles whilst a little further up the coast the resort of Portonovo,a rocky cove is set in the Monte Conero national park. Fabulous restaurants are scattered along the beach and a Napoleonic fortress has been converted into a 5 star hotel.

Local festivals which include re-enactment of the battle of Fornarina 31st July and our Pallio on 15th August provide a procession of medieval costumes plus a jousting tournament. ‘Villa Sibillini is owned and run by a decent down to earth family who made us feel very welcome and who obviously know the locals and the area really well, they advised us on things to see and do. We felt really at home, the rooms are bright & airy- the breakfasts were excellent. We holiday in Italy every year and this friendly little hotel represents good value for money’
