Casa Vitale is a newly restored farmhouse within walking distance of the hilltop town of Carassai. The house has panoramic and stunning views of the surrounding countryside, the Sibillini mountains and the Adriatic sea. The grounds around the house and the pool are landscaped and there is an olive grove of some 80 trees. The infinity pool is positioned to maximise the incredible views. The house is on an easily accessible private white road 300 yards from the maintained road leading to Carassai. The village, with its essential shops, is within walking distance. The nearest sandy beach is 15 mins drive with many bars and fish restaurants along the seashore.

Changeover day
The changeover day is Saturday during the high season but can be flexible at other times.

Notes on accommodation
The property is suitable for children although non-swimmers would need to be supervised around the pool.
Outside
The garden is landscaped with a large lawn. The infinity pool is 6m x 10m and has a selection of sun loungers, pool furniture and umbrellas. It has a solar powered hot shower and a barbecue outside the kitchen with access from a French window. There is an outside table and chairs for eating that seats 8 people.
Coast/Beach
The nearest (sandy) beach is 15 mins drive with many bars and fish restaurants along the seashore. Watersports, including windsurfing are available. It is possible to hire umbrellas and sun loungers.
Golf
There is a nearby golf course under construction - soon to be completed.
Travel
There are two local airports, Ancona to the north and Pescara to the south. It is about an hour's drive from both to the house. It is essential to hire a car. There is a good rail network from San Benedetto on the coast (25 minutes drive). Trains go to Bologna with connections to Florence and Milan. The line continues to Bari in the south and beyond.
Distances
The village, with its essential shops, is within walking distance. The nearest town is Cupra Maritimma on the coast, 15 minutes drive. There is a luxury coach that goes to Rome, taking three hours. It is possible to make a day trip. There are many hilltop villages to visit and the university town of Macerata has a renouned opera festival in July/August.
Further details
The area is well known for its high quality cuisine, particularly fish on the coast. The cathedral at Loreto is a place of pilgramage and Ascoli Piceno is famous for its piazza and art deco cafe.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit must be paid on confirmation of booking and the balance paid 8 weeks prior to the date of arrival. A security deposit of £250 is required to cover any damage of the property or facilities. This deposit will be required on confirmation of the booking and refunded within 14 days of departure.
