The farmer’s house has been completely renovated in keeping with the style of the area, located in a quiet, small scenic village of Tofori. Surrounded by olive groves and trees. 12km from the medieval town of Lucca and 80km from Florence. Approximately 40km from Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi beach.

Notes on prices
We are happy to reduce the price for people remaining more than three weeks. Monthly price is different from weekly price.
Changeover day
From June to September arrivals are usually on Saturday after 4pm. Departures Saturday morning before 10am. We are flexible for the rest of the year.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with two twin beds.both berooms have been newly painted Sofa bed in lounge (sleeps 2). |
| Bathrooms: | Both bathrooms with shower, located near to the bedrooms. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge with freezer and cooker. |
| Utility Room: | Washing machine. |
| Living Rooms: | Living and dining areas are both in the same room with satellite TV and sofabed. |
| Other: | We have a small flat that sleeps 2-3 people. Therefore in case our guests would like to come in a group of 8, we can accomodate five of them in the main house and 2 in the small apartment. All together we can accommodate up to 7/8. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
12 euros per person for towels and bed linen. The house is completely cleaned at the end of every guest's stay. Additional cleaning is usually paid by the guest. |

Notes on accommodation
A large fireplace in the entrance that is also the dining and sitting room. Central heating in the bedrooms and bathroom.
Accessibility
The access to our house is comfortable and easy for wheelchair users because the house is on the ground floor.
Outside
There is a large patio and a large garden. Private pool (circular 8m diameter). The pool is for private use of our guests.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is Viareggio. It takes about 40/45minutes to reach it from here. Further west, you can find Lido di Camaiore and Forte dei Marmi. There is fine sand all along the coast that connects the three places mentioned above. The coast is subdiveded into private lots all of them furnished with umbrella and chairs. In some of them, it is possible to rent a bathinghut and an umbrella for the day. There is the possibility of enjoying your lunch at local restaurant on the beach.

Skiing
Approx 80km to L'Abetone in the province of Pistoia (direction of Florence).
Special interest holidays
We are happy to invite our guests to our house for an oil taste. We produce organic olive oil. We can also give cooking lessons or cook a meal for you. We offer the possibility of learning italian. Lessons can be individual or in small groups 3/5 people.
Travel
Pisa is the nearest airport within 40 mins. It usually takes about 1 hour to reach our house. Florence is 60km away and it takes approx same time.We always recommend our guests to hire a car that will allow them free movements. But if you want, we can welcome you at the airport and accompany you to our house as well as we can accompany you on a regular base to local restaurant and places of interest.the fee
will be agreed according to distance.
Distances
The nearest village is called Camigliano and there you can visit the beautiful Villa Torrigiani. Next to it, there is a minimarket where you can do your shopping thus combining duty with pleasure!
The nearest city is Lucca, an ancient city completely serrounded by the Walls. To walk on the Walls, in my opinion, is the most wonderful experience one can have in Lucca. Such an ancient monument that still now, everyday welcomes lots of people in search of relax!
Further details
A few supermarkets and lots of good restaurants near to the house. Places of interest for children include Pinocchio's park at Collodi.
We prefer to let the whole house 'but' we are ready to consider letting one room with breakfast.

Booking notes
The booking is made by email. A third of the amount to be paid by deposit. The rest of the payment to be sent before arrival.

One of our guests has come back every year for 9 years until their daughters were grown up and wanted to visit new countries. Most of our guests come back and send new people.

My name is Paola. I am 60 years old. I have been married with Enrico for 38 years. Mother of two beautiful daughters, Stella, 33 and Aurora, 24; grandmother of three wonderful grandchildren, Sofia 6, Gemma, 4 and Teodoro 2 month sold. I like music, macrobiotic cooking and gardening.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought the property in 1974. We liked the place because it is a little bit out of the beaten tracks and yet near to Lucca and Pescia.
Unique benefits of the property
We have always enjoyed living here because we feel it as the place where we have fulfilled all our dreams: build a family, cultivate our own vegetables and do a lot of gardening.
