The quiet medieval village of San Casciano dei Bagni, famous for it's thermal-water springs, offers all the necessary grocery and home supply shopping, as well as some excellent restaurants and a newly built, state of the art, thermal spa resort with a full range of health and beauty treatments.

Changeover day
Weekly bookings are from Saturday to Saturday, with arrivals on Saturday afternoons after 4pm and departures the next Saturday morning before 10am.

Outside
Large fenced garden with newly planted olive grove and pergola area for eating outside. The swimming pool is about 10 metres away from the house and is equipped with deck chairs and sun beds as well as a very large straw cover for plenty of shade. It measures 10x5m and is 2.4m at the deep end and 1.2m at the shallow end. The garden also includes a brand new playground area for children with wooden-castle structure equipped with climbing-rope, swing and slide.
Travel
There are cheap Easyjet and Ryanair flights to Rome Ciampino or Ryanair to Pisa airport. Also standard airline flights to Rome Fiumicino airport. It is a 2 hour drive from any of these airports.
Distances
The nearest town of San Casciano dei Bagni is a 3 km drive away, down a private dirt road. Here you will find basic grocery shops, banks, post office, excellent restaurants and newly built thermal spa resort. Nearby places of interest include Cetona 30 mins away, Pienza 40 mins away, Montalcino 1 hour away, Siena 1 hour 30 mins away, Florence 1 hour 30 mins away, and Rome 2 hours away.

The nearest supermarket is in Chiusi, a 30 mins drive away.
Booking notes
Bookings may be made by email and these will be held 7 days pending receipt of deposit. A booking deposit of 50% is required at the time of the booking. The remainder of the payment is expected 8 weeks before arrival date. A damages deposit of £250 is also required at this time (this will be refunded if no breakages occur).
