An architecturally interesting, lovingly restored, 2 bedroom hunting lodge with many original features - gun windows, fireplace and stone floors - that have been incorporated into a modern, comfortable home. The lodge offers privacy, sitting in its own grounds amidst olive, fruit and nut trees; a planting of aromatic herbs and flowers runs down one side of the house. Panoramic views to neighbouring medieval hill towns. It is close to the majestic Sibillini mountains and National Park (5 mins) and within easy access of the Adriatic resorts of Pedaso (35 mins), Cupra Marittima and Grottamare (40 mins). Shops, market, bank and restaurants are within 5 minutes (Comunanza). You take the new fast tunnel and mountain road (opened 2008) to the beautiful, historic town of Ascoli Piceno within 25 minutes and combine the peace of Le Marche with a vist to Rome 2.5 hours away by car.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
There is a 25% discount on the second and subsequent weeks if you book 14 days or more. (e.g. for an April/May booking, 1st week is £375, 2nd and any subsequent weeks are charged at £281.25 per week.)
Changeover day
Changeover day is usually Saturdays, sometimes Fridays. We will consider other changeover days, but it depends on availability. No 2nd week discounts are given for stays midweek to midweek.

45 minutes to small ski resort of Sassotetto, near Sarnano.
Travel
Ancona 1.5 hours drive.
Car hire is essential.

Further details
Guided mountain walking can be arranged in National Park Office in Amandola. The region is full of masterpieces of Renaissance art. Some recommended day trips eg. Lorenzo Lotto in Jesi, P. Recanati and Loreto; Piero della Francesca and Uccello in Urbino and the Crivelli brothers in Monte San Martino and Ascoli Piceno.
Booking notes
At time of booking a 30% non-refundable deposit is required.
8 weeks before your holiday begins, the balance will be payable in full, along with a £200 refundable breakages deposit (providing the house is left in the same state as found).
If the booking is made within 8 weeks of the start of your holiday, the full payment will be required at the time of booking.
