Our newly furnished flats are in Giudecca, a peaceful, unspoiled and villagey part of Venice. Superb views and numerous local shops and excellent restaurants, yet only a few minutes by water bus to St Mark's Square and the Grand Canal. There is a large supermarket two minutes walk away so no need to speak Italian. You will quickly feel part of the Venetian way of life rather than just passing through as tourists. Notes on prices
Discounts are available for longer bookings. All prices include a complementary bottle of Prosecco on arrival, top quality towels and bedlinen and a final clean. There are no hidden extras.
Changeover day
No preferred changeover day. Minimum of three nights booking. Arrival after 4pm and Departure by 10am but luggage can be left at your apartment on arrival (if earlier) or on departure (if later) - to match your flight schedule.
Notes on accommodation
All the flats have full central heating and air-conditioning throughout making them a superb year-round destination. Each flat has been decorated and furnished in its own unique style and we get as many plaudits about the decor, ambience and comfort of the flats as we do about their superb location.
Outside
TERRAZZA has a superb planted patio with lovely canal views. There is a large outside dining table and chairs and deckchairs.
CORTE has a large courtyard patio with dining table and chairs and two sun loungers. Our visitors enjoy sunny breakfasts, relaxed lunches, and evening drinks on the patios.
LAGUNA has a large balcony with dining table and chairs and deckchairs. The south-facing balcony has wonderful direct views of the Southern Lagoon.
Coast/Beach
Venice Lido with its grand old hotels and sandy Adriatic beaches is a 15 minute water bus ride from our flats. There is a public beach or daily rates for use of the private hotel beaches.
Travel
Venice Marco Polo Airport (BA, Easyjet) is 20 minute bus or taxi ride into Venice. Treviso airport (Ryanair) is 40 minute coach ride into Venice. Full travel details and choices on our own website.
Distances
The Palladio churches of Redentore and Zitelle are on Giudecca - a few minutes walk. 8 minutes by water bus to St Marks Square. 1 minute by water bus to Dorsoduro. 5 minutes walk to the Accademia bridge and art gallery and 5 minutes walk to Campo S Margharita - the arty bohemian area with lots of cafes.
