Built in traditional Sardinian style, the apartment is set in quiet location in pretty gardens, and has a large covered fully furnished terrace with amazing uninterrupted views over the Golfo di Olbia towards Isola Tavolara. The apartment is tastefully furnished to a high standard, and is professionally maintained. Use of communal pool (June - September). Many beaches close by, the nearest is only a 10 minute walk. Olbia and its airport 15 minutes. The location is perfect for exploring the coast and interior of the island.

Outside
Set in attractive Mediterranean style gardens, the apartment has a large covered private terrace with uninterrupted outstanding views across the bay and hills. Sofa and large table and 6 chairs. Communal heated swimming pool with life guard, great views towards the sea and Isola Tavolara (available 31 May until 21 September).
Coast/Beach
The apartment is in a perfect location for exploring the many stunning beaches of the Costa Smeralda, Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo. The nearest beach is a 10 mins walk, there are 6 more beaches all within a 10 mins drive. The sea is crystal clear, all the beaches have clean white sand. Most have lounger, windsurf, and pedalo hire and beach bars in season. The sea is warm from early May - November. Facilities for sub aqua, snorkeling, swimming, sailing, big game fishing, kite and windsurfing.
Golf
Golf is available at the world renowned Pevero Golf Club, it is one of the most beautiful and exclusive golf courses in the World. Pevero is 30 mins drive away.
Special interest holidays
The apartment is well located for exploring the interior of the island, the mountains and the many archeological remains. Olbia is a lively city with many facilities, whilst the glamour of the Costa Smeralda and the artist village of San Panteleo is only a 20 minute drive away. Corsica can be reached by ferry from Golfo Aranci 10 mins drive away. Available locally trekking, horseback riding, tennis, beach volley ball, sub-aqua, windsurfing and kite sailing. Boat hire available in local marinas. New for 2008 exclusive use of a 41ft Catamaran, with child friendly and english speaking skipper at affordable rates. Longer charters also available at special rates.
Travel
Olbia airport is a 15 mins drive away, and Alghero 1½ hour drive. Olbia is also a sea port, ferries take you to various major sea ports on mainland Italy. Car hire is recommended to be able to explore the island and different beaches.

Rome is only 20 minutes by plane from Olbia airport.
Distances
Olbia 10 mins drive, Porto Rotondo 15 mins, Porto Cervo and it's beaches 30 mins. La Maddalena archipelago 45 min drive away, accessible from Palau. Ferries run frequently from Golfo Aranci and Santa Teresa to Corsica.
Further details
Pittulongu has various good quality restaurants and bars, several right on the beach, and within walking distance. There is also a well stocked small supermarket at the bottom of the road. Larger supermarkets can be found in Olbia, along with a twice weekly street market, and many shops, restaurants, bars and night clubs. In August there is also a lively night market in the main street. Olbia also has several large banks and a Hospital. There is a large swimming pool complex 8km away with three Olympic size swimming pools, a health spa and tennis complex - open all year.
There is a fantastic water park in Baia Sardinia.

Apartment generally booked for full weeks, but will consider shorter breaks. Bookings of 3 weeks or more 10% discount. Prices in UK pounds. Deposit of 50% payable at time of booking (non returnable), balance due 1 (one) month before departure. Breakage deposit £200 payable in cash or cheque, returned when the apartment has been checked. Deposit will be returned to you in the UK.
