Piccola Quercia is located in a small village close to Menaggio and has its own private heated swimming pool and gardens. The villa is set on the mountainside with magnificent views. There are large areas of patio and grass with a pergola, table and chairs for eating and lounging. Lake Como and Lake Lugano are close by and there are several restaurants. The villa is fully furnished with two levels of accommodation.

Accessibility
Limited for people with mobility difficulties.
Outside
Terraced gardens on three levels. Upper level has two patio areas with outdoor furniture including 2 cane armchairs, 2 patio tables and umbrellas and 9 chairs.
Middle terrace has swimming pool and large paved area with shaded pergola and wooden garden table and chairs for 8 people. Pool 9mx5m and 5 feet deep. Lower level is given over to garden with fruit trees, flowers and vegetables. Private garage attached to property.
Coast/Beach
Lake Como has promenades and a number of shingle beaches along the shore. Boats regularly operate up and down the lake. Boat hire, water skiing and sailing can be enjoyed on both lakes Como and Lugano.
Golf
18 hole Menaggio golf course and clubhouse open March - November 1km.
Skiing
Several small local resorts within an hours drive and Madessimo is 1¼ hours drive and St Moritz is 1½ hrs drive.
Travel
The area is served by three airports and several major airlines. A variety of cheap options are available through airlines such as Ryanair, Easyjet and JET2. Malpensa airpot is 1¼ hours drive. Linate airport is 1½ hours drive. Bergamo airport is 1¾ hours drive. A car is recommended to fully enjoy the area and most major car hire companies operate from the three airports.
Distances
There are many places to visit including Porlezza on Lake Lugano about 10 minutes drive. Switzerland is about 20 minutes drive away.Bellaggio is a world heritage site a 10 minute ferry ride from Menaggio. Como city is about 15km and Milan easily accessible by boat and train.

Numerous restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets, banks are easily accessible.
Booking notes
20% deposit to be made at time of booking to secure reservation, remainder to be paid 2 months in advance of arrival. Payment can be arranged via Paypal or bank transfer or bank cheque. No refunds made if cancelled within 2 months of reservation, unless alternative arrangements can be made. Please note all bookings require a refundable £100 security deposit.
