It is ideal for families wanting a quiet holiday and perfect for walking holidays in early summer, spring and autumn. The towns of Cortona, Umbertide and Perugia are all within 25 minutes drive. Riding, sailing and waterskiing available on the lake.

Notes on accommodation
The house is about a mile down a well surfaced 'white' road which is well maintained and easily navigable by ordinary hire car. It is some distance from lively nightlife and bars situated by lake Trasimeno so is not really suitable for anyone with teenage/20s children who would have to drive home late at night.
The heated Jacuzzi will be available from spring 2008 as will extensive additions to the landscaped gardens.

Private heated pool mosaic tiled 6x12m and large Hot Tub. Terrace by pool and house with 6 teak sunbeds and 2 parasols. Dining table and 8 chairs under the trees with parasols. Outside lights and pool lights. Extensive landscaped gardens and wooded area with plenty of peaceful shaded places to enjoy. Plenty of parking space. Logs available for fires in the evenings when required.
Coast/Beach
25 minutes drive to the beaches and water sports of Lake Trasimeno and 2 hours drive to either the Mediterranean or Adriatic in opposite directions.
Travel
Nearest airports Perugia (Ryanair from Stansted) 40 mins, Bologna Forli (Ryanair) or Ancona (Ryanair) both 2 hours drive. Rome and Pisa, about 2½ - 3 hour's drive.
Distances
Nearest shop selling basics about 3 miles drive, nearest large villages with variety of shops, bars and restaurants 15 mins drive, nearest large town Cortona, Perugia and Umbertide 25 - 35 mins drive. 1½ hours to Florence, Siena, Montepulciano.

Booking notes
Cheques or direct bank transfer. Deposit of 30% on making reservation and can be made in Euro or Sterling, balance 6 weeks before holiday commences.
