Trullo San Cataldo is a beautiful and spacious trullo in the heart of the famous Valle d`Itria, situated between Martina Franca, Cisternino and Ostuni. Particularly light and airy for a trullo, it has all the modern comforts needed to make your holiday relaxed and enjoyable and has been recently newly furnished to a very high standard. Being centrally-placed, Trullo San Cataldo makes an ideal base from which to explore this lovely and unspoilt region of Italy, with its genuine, friendly inhabitants. After a day`s sightseeing or lazing on the beach, you can relax with a barbecue and a glass of wine on the terrace. Or why not take the short drive into Martina Franca and enjoy an ice cream or a cappuccino or walk around the Baroque historical centre, mingling with the locals out on their evening passeggiata? Please note that Trullo San Cataldo is available for long lets (even in winter).

Notes on prices
Prices are for renting the trullo per week in UK Pounds, regardless of the number of guests staying. Substantial discounts are available for long lets out of season, so why not stay whilst you are searching for a property to buy or whilst having renovations done to your own property? The trullo has gas central heating available for long winter lets. Telephone line with broadband connection is also available for long lets only (Heating, telephone etc. to be paid for separately).
Changeover day
Preferred changeover day is Saturday but this can sometimes be flexible.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom one with large double bed. Bedroom two has twin beds. Bedroom three is equipped with a double, easy to use sofa bed which can be left as a bed. |
| Bathrooms: | Family bathroom with bath (shower cubicle over bath), hand basin, wc and bidet. Second bathroom with WC and hand basin (with useful shower spray attachment for washing hair). There is also a washing machine in the second bathroom. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen has electric cooker with gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and plenty of storage space/work surface. |
| Living Rooms: | There are three living areas within the trulli. Two of these have sofas and the third with dining table and chairs. A TV (for Italian channels only) is available, as well as DVD player. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bath/hand towels and linen are included. These are changed weekly when the cleaning is done. Beach towels must be provided by guests. |
Notes on accommodation
The trullo is suitable for children but guests must be aware that there is a small external staircase leading to the trullo roof, which is obviously unsuitable for children to climb.

Accessibility
Gardens and patio are flat and safely enclosed by walls and perimeter fencing, and therefore it is considered a very safe and accessible property for anyone with mobility problems and for children.
Outside
There is a large, paved terrace equipped with sun loungers, umbrella, picnic table and BBQ. The garden has a wide variety of fruit trees - figs, cherries, mulberries, apples, pears etc. - which guests are welcome to help themselves to when the fruit is in season.
Coast/Beach
Both the Adriatic and Ionian coasts are within easy driving distance. The nearest sandy beaches are at Torre Canne (approx. 20 minutes) with the Ionian beaches approx. 30 minutes away.
Travel
Trullo San Cataldo is 50 minutes from Brindisi airport and one hour, 10 minutes from Bari airport. A car is essential and both airports have a good selection of car-hire companies.
Distances
The trullo is well situated for visits to the beautiful towns of Martina Franca (10 mins.), Cisternino (10 mins), Locorotondo (10 mins.) and Ostuni (20 mins.). Other places of interest include the famous trulli town of Alberobello (30 mins), the amazing underground caves of Castellana Grotte (40 mins), and the Zoo Safari at Fasano (20 mins).
Further details
Martina Franca is a good-sized town with many elegant, high quality shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants (3.5 km). There is a bar with a small grocery store (also open on Sundays) approx. one km away, on the road for Cisternino. Also on this road (but nearer to Cisternino) is a large, well-stocked supermarket with good parking.
Booking notes
Please book by e-mail. Telephone enquiries can also be made. Deposit of 25% to confirm booking. Full payment, by bank transfer, required at least four weeks prior to holiday. A damage deposit of £100 is mandatory with final booking fee. This will be refunded within 2 weeks of vacating the property. For long term, winter lets please email for availability and price reductions.
