The apartment is bright and shiny and easily located just in the heart of the historic Centre of Florence, behind the Palazzo Vecchio building and a few steps from the Uffizi Gallery, the Bargello tower, Piazza della Signoria and Santa Croce church. Built over two levels in an old XVI century building, on the 4-5th floor (no lift), overlooks the roofs of Florence, churches and places of historic interest from the main large bedroom, on the upper level. The restoration of the interior has preserved the original wooden beams and added a stilish wooden floor. It is furnished with some nice pieces of antique and Tuscan popular furniture. The apartment hosts comfortably 2+2 people, provided with satellite television, single heating, washing machine, dishwasher, iron and a portable air conditioning equipment. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge and a small freezer, stove and cutlery.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible, but arrivals from 2 pm to 7 pm are preferred, although a special agreement can be obtained by email contact, in advance.
Checkout by 11.am on departing day.

| Bedrooms: | The large bedroom has 2 queen size beds (150 x 200 cm), sleeps 2/4 persons and is located on a panoramic and full of light upper level. A TV and studio corner is also present with a writing desk and a sofabed. |
| Bathrooms: | The nice bathroom is crossed by a lower arch which ideally separates the shower with tub and the lavatory, from the bidet, wc and washing machine. The bathroom window overlooks the roofs and Santa Croce church in the background. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is located at the lower level, near the main entrance and it is fully equipped with cutlery, gas cooker, fridge and a small freezer, dishwasher, but no oven. |
| Utility Room: | In a kitchen corner is located a small utility room with everything necessary to clean the apartment, where the boiler is also positioned. |
| Living Rooms: | On the lower floor a nice and warm room welcome our guests for dining. An original tuscan cupboard and table in country style are ideal for a quick morning breakfast as well for lunch and dinner, with 4 comfortable seats available. |

Notes on accommodation
Single heathing with instant hot water production to avoid any limitation of hot water. The boiler can be regulated either in the hot water, or in the heathing position. The main thermostat is positioned on the wall of main bedroom and is already pre-set according to the standards of temperature confort. In the appartment there is the possibility of a travelling cot for children.
Accessibility
The flat is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Versilia coast (Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi) at 80 km (1 hour by car or train).
Maremma coast (Castiglione della Pescaia, Follonica) at 170 km. (1½ hour by car).
Travel
Bus stop to the train station (n° 23), 200 m.
Airport of Florence (Amerigo Vespucci), is 8km (25 minutes by car).
Airporto of Pisa (Galileo Galilei), is 80 km (by train or by Terravison bus at the Santa Maria Novella station).
The apartment is located inside the restricted area to the traffic (7.30am to 7.30pm), where is forbidden the car access without a resident permit (but garages and toll parkings within 500 - 600m). However you don't need a car to visit Florence and the historic centre.

The area where the apartment is located offers the widest selection of restaurants, cafè, and cinemas. The location of the apartment allows you to come back home and having a break during the day, if you want to relax for a while and keep visiting later... without taking any bus: a perfect walk tour of Florence!

Booking notes
Your minimun stay is 3 nights.
A 20% of deposit must be paid at time of booking (by bank transfer in Euro, or PayPal). The balance will be paid at your arrival in the apartment in Euro cash.
No security deposit needed, since we trust your behaviour, but an eventual damage will be obviosuly charged.
It is important to leave us your mobile number, if possible, for contact during your travel: if you are late, please call or send a text to avoid us a long awaiting, since we do not live nearby.
