'Villa Elisa', in the heart of Puglia, has everything needed for a good relaxing holiday – the lovely gardens with lots of fruit trees and grapes, the vast outside living space, the roof garden, the covered veranda and the peace and quiet of Italian countryside! The stunning gardens are full of various mature fruit trees and other plants. The property is situated on 2500 sq.m. of land. Our guests are very welcome to help themselves to any fruits, which are in season! Brick built BBQ. We also welcome small guests as high-chair and travel cot are available so you don't need to worry about extra luggage!

Accessibility
The property is wheelchair friendly. There is one step up into the house, but all the rooms are on one level and the front door is double width allowing for easy access. The large family bathroom has plenty of space as well.
Outside
The villa is set within 2500 sq.m. of beautiful, private gardens with lots of roses and other flowers. There is lots of space to chill out during the hot hours of the day as well as sun-worshippers can find plenty of spots to lie down. Fruit trees include: lemons, oranges, mandarins, pears, figs, apples, prickly pears and loquats. There are also olive trees, palms and grapes. Our guests are very welcome to help themselves to any fruits, which are in season! The whole garden is well lit-up by beautiful lanterns, which makes it very attractive and user-friendly for evening BBQs. There are also outdoor tables, chairs and sunbeds. The villa accessed through private electric gates and has a drive that is suitable for at least 3 cars.
Coast/Beach
Lido Specchiola is literally straight down the road and over the motorway, less than 10 minutes by car. There's also several small shops (everything you need for the beach).
5 mins from there is the famous natural and marine reserve of Torre Guaceto BR. (www.riservaditorreguaceto.it). Costa Merlata also has a beautiful sandy beach.
All beaches are great and the water is lovely and clean for swimming
Golf
There are 2 very good golf courses within "driving" distance nearby. If you'd like details please ask.
Travel
By plane:
12 miles (19 km) and about 25 mins - Brindisi Airport - served by Ryanair.
60 miles (90 km) Bari Palese Airport (about 1 hour 10 mins away) - served by Ryanair and British Airways.
There are also lots of budget italian airlines so you can fly from the UK for example with change over in Milan.

Distances
Villa Elisa is situated just outside the local town of San Vito dei Normanni. It’s a lovely Italian town with all necessities. There is big supermarket (only 1 mile away) with impressive choice of deli, fresh meat and local seafood.
Ostuni, a beautiful walled city, also called “White City” is approx 10 miles away and offering superb local Italian cuisine and big range of dishes from southern area. There is also a local restaurant/pizzeria within 0.5 mile of the villa.
Further details
Puglia is a lovely area with lots to see and do.
Brindisi has some Roman remains and considerable medieval monuments.
Lecce is famed for its marvellous Baroque buildings. The cathedral and the seminary face the main square with the famous well. In the historic centre there are also the theatre and the Roman amphitheatre, dating back to the second century AD.
Alberobello has the most evocative and magical countryside of the region, where you can admire the traditional trulli houses. These typical buildings have cupolas of grey stone and façades always whitened with lime.
Puglia is well famous for its wine.
There are public tennis courts 200 metres away.

30% non-refundable deposit to be made to confirm booking. Then full amount is required 6 weeks before arrival date. The security deposit of £50 is required (payable with remaining amount) and will be returned within 7 days of end of booking.
