A few years ago Isabelle and Erik (Belgian/Dutch couple) realized their dream. They bought an old farmhouse in Italy and restored it themselves. This farmhouse, restored with love for the characteristic details, offers you an unforgettable relaxed and peaceful stay. The kindness and courtesy of the people of the area will be yet another highlight of your vacation. La Girandola is situated in the middle of the Marche, also called Italy's best kept secret. Here everything is possible; sun-bathing in the lounge-chairs, taking walks in the green area, swimming in the Adriatic Sea, go on a mountain-bike excursion, visit the cities of Art in the neighbourhood .... you won't be bored.

Our selfcatering apartment offers plenty of space to 4 persons (60 square meters).
It has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom with shower and toilet and a livingroom with a kitchenette.
You'll find a hifi installation, an electric oven and a gas hob with 4 burners. There is a filter coffee machine, but you have to bring the filters yourself because they are hard to find overhere.
Every room has central heating, so you can also rent the apartment during the winter.
Garden furniture and an umbrella are also at your disposal.
A common washing machine is at your disposal.

Coast/Beach
Those who enjoy the sea, will be glad to have it nearby. After half an hour driving, you'll walk on the beach of Senigallia or take a swim in the Adriatic near the reserve of the Monte Conero. Nearby (15min), the lake of Cingoli offers you swimming facilities and waterfans will also appreciate the Aquapark Eldorado in Apiro.
Travel
The nearest airport is Raffaello Sanzio in Falconara (Ancona 35km) and has direct flights to London-Stansted, Liverpool (Ryanair), Rome, Milano (Alitalia), Munich (airdolomiti), Paris and Barcelona (Evolavia).
It's recommended to have a car hired at the airport.

Biking:
Our farm is situated in the reserve of the Colli Esino-San Vicino. Here, the organisation Leader II developed 20 mountain-bike tracks.
Horseriding:
Exploring our countryside on the back of an horse is possible at Ziamelia`s riding school. Experienced riders gallop through the charming hillsides and open fields, while the beginners make a try out in the outside paddock.
Walking:
A beautiful walk can be made to the eremo dei Frati Bianchi. All kind of other paths lead you to wonderful places like the weir of Cingoli, the abbey of Val di Castre,...
Enogastronomy:
Cupra Montana is the centre of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, a delicous white wine. It organizes yearly one of the oldest grape-fairs of Italy. In the winebar la Birba in Cupramontana, you can taste all kind of different wines of the Marche. The kitchen of the Marches is sober but tasteful. You'll find brodetto, vincisgrassi, zuppa di ceci on most of the menus.
Mountains:
Close to us you will find the Monte San Vicino (1500m), a splendid place to take a walk. If you like it higher, we recommand you the Monti Sibillini, with tops of 2500m. In winter, this is also a beautiful winter-sports area.
