This medieval property, modernised to a high standard, is set into the wall of the church in the stunning hilltop village in the imposing Argentine Valley and is not overlooked. It is 5 minutes drive to the river where you can swim in the large safe rock pools(see property IT840) and 10 minutes to the larger village of Badalucco. Badalucco has a bank, shops, bars and restaurants and is 20 minutes drive away from the Mediterranean coastal town of Arma Di Taggia for sandy beaches, a lovely Italian family resort with many restaurants and ice cream bars and summer promenade stalls and shops.

Notes on accommodation
This apartment is set into the rock beneath the church but has a beautiful safe terrace which gets the sun all day. Outside furniture takes advantage of the stunning views from the terrace. A place in which you can get away from it all or enjoy the Mediterranean only 10 miles away.

Coast/Beach
The coastal town of Arma Di Taggia has beautiful safe sandy beaches ideal for all age groups and particularly for families with children. The promenade has many restaurants, open air markets, tennis courts and small marina. Dingy sailing, wind surfers and pedalos are available.
Golf
40 minutes from a new golf course.
Skiing
1-2 hours from the friendly ski resort of Limone. Travel to and from the resort can be arranged.
Travel
Nice airport is an hour away and serviced by Easy Jet whilst Ryan Air fly into Genoa which is between 1 and 2 hours away, both with access to car hire. Monaco and Menton are on the way along the motorway as it winds its way along the Cote d'Azur.
Distances
The old colonial city of San Remo is 30 minutes away including some fine shops and Victorian casino and large marina and sea front.
Monaco and Menton are just a 40 minute drive away or can be accessed by train.
Further details
2 minutes walk from the apartment is a friendly restaurant where you can get a variety of food including pizzas. There is a small post office, general store and local bar/cafe which sells great cappucinos.
