Changeover day
Depending upon bookings already made, the changeover day can be flexible. For arrival and departure times, we will try to accommodate your travel timetable where possible and reasonably practical.

Outside
There is a private swimming pool (11m x 5m), garden furniture and a barbeque for outdoor dining. In front of the property is a patio overlooking the gardens and there is 3 hectres of private land. The villa grounds lead to a number of countryside walks.

The westcoast beaches can be reached within 2 hours.
Golf
The UNA Poggio dei Medici Golf Glub is situated in the Mugello Valley, Tuscany which is 30km north east of Florence. The Club offers a superb 18 holes par 73 golf course and was designed by professional player Baldovino Dassł and Italian architect Alvise Rossi Fioravanti, constructed to USGA standards.
The course is 6.397 meters long, 5.091 from the Ladies Tees, and 6.519 meters from the Championship Tees. The course, that was used for the Ladies Italian Open from 1999-2003, has four different playing routes within the 18 holes. There is a driving range, complete with shaded driving bay and putting and pitching greens and a PGA Academy Professional offers private lessons.
The course is open all year round, 7 days a week and Golf carts are available for rent.
Special interest holidays
Both painting and cookery courses and/or holidays can be held at the villa, along with wine tasting evenings.
Travel
There is a choice of airports; Florence is a 30 minute drive to the villa, Bologna G.Marconi 1 hour, Pisa 1 hour 15 minutes and Forli 1 hour 45 minutes. It is necessary to hire a car, and there are a number of car hire companies at the airports.

Montecarelli 1km, Barberino Di Mugello 10km, Scarperia 20km, Borgo San Lorenzo 23km, Florence 35km, Pisa 110km, Siena 95km, Bologna 65km.
Further details
The villa is perfectly located to offer a wide range of activities and places to visit. It is close to Lake Bilancino where you can canoe, sail, windsurf and fish. Other activities include trekking, mountain biking, wine tasting, guided tours to towns and house riding. A 15 minute drive takes you to the Mugello Autodrome for the Superbikes race events and Ferrari test drives or you can play golf at the nearby Poggio dei Medici golf club. It is also close to the new Barberino Designer Outlet store.

Any cancellation must be made in writing.
Booking Deposit: 50% when booking is made, 100% no later than 9 weeks before date of arrival.
Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of Euro 1.500,00 is payable for any bookings for the entire villa for any length of period.
