Casa Renata lies at the foot of the picturesque and relatively undiscovered medieval town of Soriano nel Cimino, within walking distance of all the towns local amenities. On offer are a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. This area of Lazio, set between the regions of Tuscany and Umbria, provides an abundance of beautiful attractions suitable for day trips. The cities of Rome (40min) Florence (1 1/2hr) and Orvieto (35min) are all easily accessible by car. Alternatively the railway station at Orte (15min) is the main junction to all major destinations. The walled medieval city of Viterbo (15min)offers its visitor galleries, museums, a wide array of bars and restaurants and the famed health spa, Le Terme. The stunning lakes of Bolsena (35km) Bracciano (40km) and Vico (15km) all provide excellent beaches and watersports, as does Lazio's and Tuscany's delightful coastline. The famed Etruscan beach town of Tarquinia (50km), Grosseto and the island of Elba are within easy reach.

Changeover day
The changeover day is Saturday. Arrive after 3pm - Depart by 11am. During off season periods however we can sometimes be flexible and accomodate different arrival days and times.

Local supermarket 'Co-op' is a 2 minute drive from the property. 10 minute walk from the property.
Soriano nel Cimino offers a good variety of shops, banks, bars and restaurants all close at hand.
The larger town of Viterbo is only a 15minute drive away with a bigger selection of all of the above and its larger hypermarkets. Viterbo offers many museums and galleries and the famed health spa, 'Terme dei Papi'. Soriano is just one of the many beautiful medieval towns dotted around this area, others include Caprarola with its stunning Palazzo Farnese and Bagnaia with its Villa Lante famed for its gardens. The famous 'La Sagra della Castagna' or 'The Chestnut Festival' is celebrated in Soriano throughout the first two weeks of October, where visitors can enjoy medieval processions and have the chance to partake in the celebrations held at local 'tavernas' and taste the fantastic regional cuisine. Throughout this area of northern Lazio there are an array of archaeological sites from Etruscan to Roman.

25% deposit on booking non-refundable. 8 weeks notice is needed for cancellations. A refundable damage deposit of £250 paid prior to arrival is to be included with final payment.
