Poggio ai Venti is a beautiful restored hilltop farmhouse (c1781) set in 13 acres of grounds including terraces, formals lawns, fallow fields and olive groves. The estate has a private swimming pool (May to October) and spectacular panoramic views of the Tuscan landscape. The villa provides a tranquil retreat for groups of up to 14 and is ideal for families. The house is equally appealing for rental in winter months as it is in summer. The interior is cosy with large open fires in the kitchen and two of the bedrooms, full central and under floor heating and a full sized billiard table to wile away those winter nights.
The villa is situated just 25 minutes drive from Pisa Airport. Once you arrive, with so much space and such peaceful surroundings it is hard to tear yourself away but close proximity to many of Italy's major attractions including Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra make this an ideal base from which to explore. The beach is just 25 minutes drive.

Minimum Rental Period & Rates
The minimum rental period is one week, from Saturday to Saturday.
The rental are per week and are sub-divided according to the rental seasons.

Bath and hand towels are provided but we ask guest to bring their own beach towels. Linen is provided and changed once a week on Saturday when the property is also cleaned. |

Payment; Upon receipt of written confirmation of availability of the villa during the period requested, you must pay a deposit of 10%. The reservation will be considered valid only after receiving this deposit. The balance must be paid 6 weeks prior to start of the rental period.
Cancellation Policy; In the event you are forced to cancel your booking, the following charges will apply:
More than 45 days* prior to the start of the rental period: 10% of the total rental fee.

I should have been in touch before, to tell you in my most enthusiastic typing style that we had a fantastic time, and everyone LOVED the villa.
It is in such a great setting - easy to get to, but incredible views all around. I was certainly in everyone's good books all week for finding such a great place. We loved the gardens (and played lots of boule in the evening on the front lawn) and the pool. Collecting eggs from the chickens, and daily deliveries from Giuseppe were also a highlight. The villa is really nice inside, and we liked that it was traditionally decorated.
We did lots of day trips to nearby places (Lucca, Casciane Terme, Lari, Rivalto, Volterra, Florence, Pisa) and spent a nice amount of time just lazing around at the villa. Chris and I did a walk down into the valley in front of the villa and were very excited when we came out at the agri-turismo.
We were very sad to leave, and everyone had really had a wonderful time, so thank you very much.
