The Castellare in Chianti apartment complex lies in the heart of Sienese Chianti, in the Chianti Gallo Nero wine area. The complex is perched on a hillside, at an altitude of around 600 metres (1,968 feet), and is made up of nine apartments in three different blocks, in which it is possible to rent properties of varying sizes and for stays of varying lengths, even just for a few days. Nestling within a fragrant woodland of tall trees, yet easily accessible from the main road, it is the perfect choice to combine convenience with beauty, in a setting redolent of nature as it used to be.

As you enter, you will find the cosy sitting room, with a fireplace and double sofa bed, in addition to a well-equipped kitchen area. An anteroom leads off through to the bathroom. The sleeping area has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, which looks onto the swimming pool. For added comfort, the apartment is equipped with air conditioning, and in the wood there is a table and chairs reserved for guests.

Semi-detached cottage in a corner position, measuring 44 m2 (c. 474 ft2). As you enter, you will find the well-equipped sitting room-kitchenette, with a double sofa bed and a view of the swimming pool. Under the stairs is a large storeroom. On the first floor are the bathroom and the bright double bedroom, which offers splendid views of both the swimming pool and the woods. A cot for children under 3 may be added, and there is a table and chairs reserved for guests outside. An added advantage of this apartment is the air conditioning

After about 2.8 km (c.1.7 miles), at km 7.2 of the SP73/B road, you will reach the Castellare.

Castellare is hidden under refreshing pine trees and full of flowers in summer.
The property has a large gazebo where you can have your lunch. All apartments have their own small table and barbecue next to the entrance. There lounge chairs around the pool. The pool is 6x12mt., has a depth 'from 0.80 to 2.10 m.

Hi. This is Tiziano Paoletti, owner of Castellare in Chianti apartment complex. I have bought the complex with my wife Luciana 3 years ago and we have renovated all the apartment. My wife decorated with love each room. Almost every weekend we come here from Florence to enjoy the tranquility of the Tuscan landscape and the fresh country air. And now we are looking forward to seeing you here!

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
I and my wife bought this property because we always were fascinated by the rural beauty of the Chianti area.I asked myself, why not?

Unique benefits of the property
I live in Florence, but only here my grandchildren have seen wild animals such as deer, wild boar, porcupine etc, Castellare is quite high so here is a little cooler in summer than in the lowlands and damp in winter. Despite the fact that appartaments are in a country side, you will find all the city amenities here. We are located in the woods, but is on the road to where we can move easily to Siena, Arezzo, Florence, etc. 9 apartments all have different and decorate. Two apartments have air conditioning (vanilla n.6, n.7 basil), all have heating, all windows have mosquito nets, three apartments have a fireplace for cooking and heating, my wife is very attentive to the bed linen and towels, we have a laundry with dryer, and ironing board.
