The Villa, constructed at the end of the 18th century, offers a relaxing and comfortable stay to whoever wishes to spend their holidays in Tuscany. The Villa has been furnished in a very comfortable way with quality furniture, in part antique and in part in stile, created by the able Tuscan craftsmen. In the romantic garden, with palms and kaki plants, there is a gazebo with table and chairs, and other garden furniture, barbecue, to stay and eat outside. From the garden, downstairs, there is a large sitting room/dining room with a very wide, functioning fireplace and a spacious and well equipped kitchen with wiew on the garden. A stone staircase leads to the first floor where there is a bright and extremely pleasing sitting room, with it's restored original painted walls, a card table and television with satellite TV and a DVD player. At only 20 meters from the Villa is a 6 x 14 mt. swimming pool that will remain heated so allowing bathing in early autumn or in mid spring.

Usually the villa is cleaned at the guest changeover but it's possible to have a clening service during the week. The linen and towels are changed one time a week, but it's possible to change them more often. Maid service availble upon request. |

Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are in the Riviera Romagnola (Rimini area) in the Adriatic Sea at about 120 km and 2 hours by car.
Other beaches, on the Tuscan coasts (at west) are at about 170-220 km, and 2-3 hours by car.
Golf
Golf Club Casentino (9 holes), at 12 km distance, at Poppi, medieval village with castle, in a splendid and panoramic location.
In summer 2013 the Golf Club Casentino will have 18 holes.
At the Casentino Golf Club there is a Club House with restaurant.

Arezzo, the nearest city, at 35 km, offers a very beatiful historical city centre, monuments, museums (Giorgio Vasari House; Piero della Francesca frescos; many important churches). Florence at 65 km (1h,30 min by car).

We enjoyed a beatiful clean villa with a splendid situated swimming pool. Spacious sleeping rooms with modern arranged bathrooms. Every family members was pleasant amused and fully satisfied about the whole week in the Villa and the region., notwithstanding one rainy day.
