An enchanting former priest''s house complete with 11th century chapel, which has been sensitively restored by its artist owner to maintain its ancient origins. It is comfortably furnished with country antiques, and has a romantic hand-carved four-poster bed in the main bedroom. The house's original chestnut beams and terracotta floors give it a wonderful rustic atmosphere. The grounds contain a magnificent 14'2 m-long salt-water chlorinated swimming pool with a grotto at one end to provide shelter from the heat. A stunning Renaissance panorama stretches in front of terraces of the property. The house is perfect for sightseeing trips to both Tuscany and Umbria's best known beauty and artistic towns, Siena, Cortona, Assisi, Gubbio, Arezzo and Perugia, as well as the medieval towns of San Sepolchro, Citta di Castello, Monte Santa Maria, and Montone.

Notes on prices
Rentals begin and end on a Saturday from 3p.m. A minimum of one weeks rental is required. The swimming pool is operational from June to October. A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the rental cost is payable upon confirmation of booking, with the balance due eight weeks before the rental periods commences.. Prices are inclusive of gas, electricity, linen and towels in the summer months. For winter bookings the rental price is exclusive of gas and electricity.
For winter lettings, gas will be charged according to the meter for the bombola.

The house is suitable for children over 5/6 years of age, and for children who can swim. Long term renters, (non smokers) welcome in the winter, low-season, as the house is fully centrally heated.

Location Information: This ancient house is situated 3km from the Tuscan/Umbrian borders in the beautiful tranquil foothills of the Appenines, along the Morra valley which leads to Cortona, Arezzo and Siena. The house is at the end of a 'white' gravel road which leads originally to the chapel which forms part of the property. The closest village is Morra, the closest small town is Trestina, with medieval Citta di Castello, Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentino, Arezzo and Perugia within easy access. Rome and Florence are both about 2 hours driving away. The central location of the house although in a completely rural situation, and its proximity to some of Italy's greatest towns and artistic treasures, Assisi, Gubbio, Cortona, Arezzo and Siena, makes it the perfect place for a holiday .
