Anghiari is a 14th Century walled town high on a hill top 5 minutes from Sansepolcro and a further 20 minutes from Arezzo. Situated on the eastern border of Tuscany. The apartment dates from 1440 and has many features including the original beams. The large arched windows have glorious views over the town. The town offers fantastic restaurants and there is an extensive calendar of events all year round - from Arts and Crafts festivals in the Spring to food and truffle festivals in October. The South Bank Symphonia play in the main square every July.

Notes on accommodation
As the apartment is on the second floor access is gained by via two flights of stone steps. It is suitable for small children, but they should be accompanied by adults.

Accessibility
There is ample free parking within a minutes walk of the apartment. You can park in the main town square or the large car park at the back of the town. If you have a small car and feel brave you can negotiate the town and park outside the apartment.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is located on the east coast of Italy at Rimini, 1.5 - 2 hours.

Further details
There are all the usual local amenities with a 5 minute walk, including banks, supermarkets and the tourist information centre. A local internet cafe is also close by. There are many local restaurants - all very good. There is a food market every Wednesday. Most shops and restaurants are closed on Mondays (out of season). Payments should be paid in full in sterling at least 1 month before you depart (unless late booking).
