Accessibility
One of the twin bedrooms with en-suite shower is situated on ground floor, and there are no stairs between this and either the living area or outside.
Outside
12x6m private pool, large garden surrounded by 12 hectares of private land. Rural setting. Lovely stone-built barbecue. Sun loungers, table and chairs on veranda overlooking valley.
Coast/Beach
45 mins driving to sought-after Monte Argentario (Gianella and Feniglia, part of Feniglia is equipped with restaurant and sunbeds etc.) also Alberese, Castiglione della Pescaia, Torba, Osa, and others.
Skiing
Skiing available at Monte Amiata.
Special interest holidays
Horse-riding, cookery courses, olive oil and wine tasting are available by arrangement. The area offers some lovely walks among the various nature reserves.
Travel
Pisa and Rome are both two and a half hours away by car, trains connect both to Grosseto.
Distances
Nearest village 5km, lovely Roccalbegna with its renowned restaurant 11km.
Further details
Many local restaurants - in particular La Grotta at Roccalbegna, Da Clara at Triana, Il Mulino at Sempronano. Local wines are Morellino (a very good small producer can be found at Villa Patrizia) and Monte Cucco, and the world famous Brunello di Montalcino is nearby. Horses can be rented locally, and the area is a favourite with cyclists. Many important Etruscan sites as well as mystical Monte Labbro with its mountaintop hermitage. Owner lives locally and will be very happy to help with settling in and any other information.
