Il Granaio (3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 4/6)

The Granaio is the typical apartment with the original details of the country house: elegantly decorated and furnished with period pieces, original old terracotta tiles, stone walls are plastered, three large double bedrooms one very large bathroom with shower, large living room with sofa, ancient fireplace from the Seicento(17th century), complete kitchen-room (self catering). Farmhouse dating from 1882, is about 100 meters. Private and large area outdoor with external table, large umbrella and barbecue. All the apartment is on one floor without internal/external staircases. It's ideal for the family with children. One very large bathroom with shower. This accommodation has a more private internal area outdoor in the property as a garden-terrace. It has three double bedrooms, located in one floor, adapted to receive guests with disabilities.

The Ziraio (3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 4/8)

The Apartment 'Lo Ziraio' (6+1 max guests), has three large bedrooms in total two large bathrooms with shower; farmholiday dating from 1882, has two double bedrooms, one with two single beds or twins beds, the other bedroom with a French bed (a more little matrimonial bed). The third bedroom very large has a double bed (matrimonial bed as 'baldacchino' in the large bedroom) and a single bed. In this large bedroom it's possible to add another single bed and to have two single beds. After, there is a (matrimonial) further sofa bed in the Living area too (as one large room with the internal cooking corner). The apartment is 100 square metres in total. The apartment is reached via an internal staircase and is in located one floor. The exit of Apartment Ziraio is exactly in the middle of the long and principal wall of the property, near the common spaces and the pine grove.

The Fortebraccio (2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 4/5)

The Fortebraccio (2/5 guests) is a complete independent ancient farmhouse, elegantly decorated and furnished with period pieces, original old terracotta tiles, stone walls plastered. Two very large bedrooms and one bathroom with shower. It is in total about 80 meters. This farmholiday is on the border between the property (position nearest the pool area) and the little place of the village (shops, services. Private area external in front of the pool's garden (large umbrella, external table, barbecue) directly in the garden area. Two large bedrooms: a simple matrimonial bedroom (or double bedroom) and a very large bedroom (as a saloon) with high original ceiling where are a double bed or matrimonial bed with a single bed. Baby cot. Original stone and wood beams, this accommodation has an ancient internal original staircase. One bathroom with shower and a complete kitchen room (self catering). Fire place and rooms furnished with period pieces.

Notes on accommodation
Each apartment is completly independent, with independent entrance, large fireplace where it's possible to cook too and fully equipped kitchen (self catering) with gas hob, refrigerator, electric oven. There is an automatic washing machine in the common laundry (a common room). Iron and ironing board.
Each apartment has an independent and single heating with counter. Baby cot or high-chair can be provided on request at no extra charge. Bedding, towels and table cloths are provided in every apartment. There is a beautiful dependence with the external veranda opened in the park with the ping pong table. This is a common saloon for the guests of the farmholidays. The stone walls are plastered, the pavement and ceiling are in the original old terracotta tiles with wood beams. Fireplaces from 17th Century.

This apartment is on one floor without external or internal staircases, entrance / exit on the ground is in a very private area outdoor (sunshade, table, private wall). Door sizes and bathroom certificated. Pool (internal stairs, size water not dangerous), dependance and walls easy accesses.

Outside
The Complex (borgo) as an ancient rural village is set in property with park, long walls, common spaces and little baby park in the garden.The fresh and common patio as external large veranda with table and chairs.
There is in ancient park where it's possible to walk along the avenues and the old pine grove in a big lot of acre grounds. Green common space in the external area of the Palace near the principal Church of Morra's town: the final part of this historical church is into the property.
The beautiful and large swimming pool (5m wide x 15m long) only for the guests and a member of the family who live in the property, which is maintained to a high standard of cleaning, including the pool.
There are plenty of recliners, tables and parasols around the pool. Each farmholiday has a private external area outdoor with garden furniture (external table, mobile barbeque, chairs and beach umbrella).

Coast/Beach
Lake Trasimeno is about 55km from La Terrazza sul Macchietto's Agritourism; fishing, watersports, boat trips to the islands, lovely beaches, visits to Passignano and Castiglion del Lago's city. Sea: less than 1+1/2 hour by car from the property.

20km in Lerchi near Città di Castello. Several golf courses with
easy reach.

Trekking in the country sides (walking or bikes), visit to the green farm (cheese, vegetables, wine, chestnuts).
It's possible to find at only 3km Valdichiana's meat and Umbria's pork-butcher at only 500m. It's possible to fish and to ride surroundings. Only on request and with a provisional booking (only group) it's possible to arrange a cooking course (chef and single position in a professional kitchen in Borgo San Sepolcro 25 minutes).
Possible tour about wine and truffel: Wine tasting in a local winery nearby and tour of The Truffels.

By Train: Linea Firenze - Roma: Arezzo's station. Linea F.C.U. San Sepolcro-Terni. The car is essential.

(post-office, small shops, bars, supermarkets,places and churches). It's possible to listen ringing the bells of the village from the property. Trestina (banks, train station, shops) 15 mins by car. Città di Castello,(20 min). Gubbio, Cortona, Borgo S. Sepolcro, Trasimeno lake (30 min), Perugia (40 min), Assisi, Arezzo (1 hr by car).Rome and Florence can be reached in two and half hours by car.

Guest comments
This beautifully restored location is in a tranquil small town yet is close to many other major cities of great variety and interest. It is easy to get to Morra by car and we enjoyed walking the surroundings and could get all our groceries in Morra. We enjoyed excellent meals at the nearby restaurant "Il Bosco" when we did not wish to cook. The pool was a great delight in the heat, although the views accross the fields in the valley below kept us cool and unhurried as well! We used the station at nearby Arezzo to take advantage of the efficient train service as well. All in all we would like to stay in this lovely location with our charming hosts again soon.(Sue T.South Africa 27/09/2005).
