Casa da Colli is a restored old farmhouse nestling in the hills with exquisite views over some of the most beautiful countryside in Italy. It has original stone walls and terracotta floors throughout. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms and the spacious sitting room contains a sofa bed as well as TV and DVD player. This leads into a large and newly fitted kitchen, with balconies and a magnificent adjoining terrace, which overlook the stunning valley and the medieval hill top towns disappearing into the distance. The property has 6 acres containing olive groves, from which you can enjoy the house olive oil. You can also pick your own figs, plums, peaches and almonds from the wonderful variety of trees surrounding the house. A swimming pool (10m x 5m) is situated below the house and enjoys breathtaking views. The accommodation sleeps up to 6 people, has full central heating and a log fire so the house can be used all year round.

Location Information: Abruzzo is one of the relatively undiscovered regions of Italy - which is why the food and wine is inexpensive and the landscape completely unspoilt. The house is situated in the hills above the charming medieval fort town of Appignano. It is half an hour’s drive from miles of sandy beaches on the Adriatic coast and forty minutes from skiing in the Apennines. We are also just on the edge of Italy’s National Park, which has spectacular views and offers walking, climbing, horse and bike riding. There’s always plenty to do here with a water-park for the whole family close by. Rome is only 2 hours drive away, so you could always take in the sights there before getting away from it all at Casa Di Colli. Well stocked shops are a five minute drive away, and there are lots of friendly restaurants offering great local food and wine at a very reasonable price.
