Towels, bed linen, weekly cleaning and utilities are all included in the price. Linens are changed and apartment cleaned weekly. |
Notes on accommodation
Accommodation has patio doors from the lounge/dining area and master bedroom which open out onto the patios and private garden areas, with beautiful lake and mountain views. For low season the property has central heating and an open log fire. The property is non - smoking.

Outside
Patios and private garden area with sun loungers, table, chairs and BBQ. Use of shared swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis and boules pitch are all free of charge to our clients and we have provided equipment for your use. Pool open from end of May to end of Sept.
Coast/Beach
The Lakeside in Menaggio has a promenade, Lido and shingle beach areas. Boats to Varenna, Bellagio, Tremezzo and Como area are available from Menaggio.
Golf
Nearest golf course is 3km away. Menaggio and Cadenabbia Golf Club is an 18 hole par 70 golf course. See Menaggio for details of the 10 golf courses in the Lake Como region.
Skiing
For winter skiing, December to May, the local resort of Madesimo is 90 mins drive away or 2 hours to St Moritz in Switzerland.
Special interest holidays
The Lake and Mountain area provides numerous outdoor activities in addition to historic sightseeing. Nearby mountain walks to 2300m possible with spectacular views of the Alps and Lakes.
Travel
Nearest Italian Airport is Milan, which has 3, Linate, Malpensa, Bergamo each approx 1 – 1½ hour by car. Lugano airport in Switzerland is 45 mins by car. Use of a car is recommended by not essential. Ryanair, Easyjet and Jet2 all fly into the Italian airports. The area is well serviced by public transport, buses, ferries and trains.
Distances
Local town, Menaggio, can be reached on foot 20 mins down and 40 mins up. Local shop 10 mins and nearby restaurant is 5 mins walk.
Further details
Bellagio, Tremezzo, Varenna and Como are easily reached by car, boat, ferry and public transport. Villa Carlotta is 15 mins drive away. Monza Grand Prix is 40 mins by car. A fantastic day out, general entry is 73 euros.
Booking notes
£100 per week deposit is required at the time of booking. Full payment 8 weeks prior to arrival date. Security deposit £200.00 to be paid with final balance in case of damage/breakages etc.

Hi there Karen, Anthony and Charlotte We have just got back from a wonderful holiday and have just now received your mail. We had a lovely time in Menaggio and Milan. The weather was very hot. 30 degrees and sunny too and you were right about the view, breathtaking! We mixed lazy days with sight-seeing and it was just what we needed so it was great to have time in a lovely location to suit ourselves and chill out! Thanks again for the let of your apartment.
Anthony and Karen, we have had a wonderful holiday, you were right the views are stunning from your apartment, we spent many an evening just relaxing with a bottle of wine on the terrace. We spent the mornings visiting the sights of Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna and Tremezzo, the car ferry leaves from Menaggio but beware they do leave on time! and the afternoons relaxing by the pool, this was a real bonus too, everywhere you look it is beautiful, we will certainly recommend it to our family and friends.
