Podere Fontegallo is located on a hill between Lago Trasimeno and Lago Chiusi, 10 minutes from the border of Tuscany, and is in the centre of one of the richest districts in the world from the historical, artistic and cultural points of view. In a journey of less than two hours by car you can see 20% of the world’s artistic heritage and explore and experience several dozen Etruscan, Medieval and Renaissance towns as well as Rome and Florence. Podere Fontegallo has been recently restored to a high standard with utmost care using the best materials in keeping with the character of the house. Outside on the wall of the house is a locally designed handmade ceramic meridian, the three patios are decorated with handmade ceramic tiles, on the roof are 3 beautiful chimneys, then there is the environmentally friendly swimming pool (6m x 14m) with water purified by UVA rays (no chlorine) and views of the countryside and Lago Chiusi, and throughout the property are quiet places to sit.

Changeover day
Free choice of days for arrival and departure. In July and August we prefer the changeover day to be Saturday, but we can be flexible. Check in between 4-6pm. Check out 10am.

Notes on accommodation
New: We now have free WiFi internet access. The apartments and the house are separately heated with their own thermostat. All guests will have access to the utility room where there is a washing machine and clothes dryer. We can arrange for our cook to prepare meals on request, subject to availability.
Outside
The apartments and the house have their own private patios. There is a bar-b-q and gazebo/dining area for use of all guests. There is the environmentally friendly swimming pool (6m x 14m) with water purified by UVA rays (no chlorine) and views of the countryside and Lago Chiusi, and throughout the property are quiet places to sit and admire the views.
Coast/Beach
Lago Trasimeno (10km), which can be seen from Podere Fontegallo, is the fourth largest lake in Italy with 10 public beaches, all subject to continuous water quality controls according to E.E.C. norms, 4 public swimming pools, and nearby facilities for sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, horse riding, golf, tennis, archery, biking, including mountain bikes, and the beautiful undulating countryside is perfect for walking.
