Podere di Monte is a magnificent recently restored country house with a private pool, tennis court and vast manicured gardens. There are sweeping views to Pisa and the sea. The house is surrounded by farmland, woodland, vineyards and olive groves. The house has four bedrooms each with its own en suite bathroom, wonderful kitchen and dining areas both in the house and on the terraces. There are two living areas with cable TV and a games room with computers connected to the world via a broadband system. Only five minutes from the spa town of Casciana Terme, thirty minutes from Pisa Airport and within easy reach of Florence, Volterra, San Gimingnano, Lucca and Sienna. Florence can be reached by train from Pontederra which saves all the parking problems associated with this fantastic destination. The immediate area is well serviced with supermarkets and Tuscan speciality outlets within 15 minutes drive and of course the shopping and culture of Florence is only a day trip away.

Notes on prices
The rates for the 2012 season include a special discount offer for this year. A security deposit of five hundred Euro will be required upon arrival and will be refunded upon departure. Final cleaning €150. For rentals of more than one week bed linen and towels will be changed on Saturdays €100.

| Bedrooms: | Magnificent master bedroom with access to the top floor terrace which has outdoor seating and tables. Ideal for your morning coffee or a late nightcap.
The bedroom has its own en suite with separate bath and shower, twin wash basins, toilet and bidet.
The second double bedroom is in the guest suite separated from the main house by the driveway, it too has an en suite facility with shower, toilet and washbasin.

Location Information: The nearby thermal spa at Casciana Terme offers a wonderfully relaxing range of spa treatments and thermal pools, while nearby there are vineyards open year round to let you taste and purchase their wares. The district is endowed with many fabulous restaurants and trattorias specializing in Tuscan dishes from both the 'terra' and 'mare'. At Volterra there is an Etruscian museum and a classic Roman theatre outside the walls of the town, a little further afield you can visit San Giminagno and Sienna to the south and then Pisa and Lucca to the north, with a little lounging by the pool a visit to these medieval attractions are guaranteed keep you and your guests busy. The seaside resorts of Tirrenia and Marina di Pisa are close by on the coast and if you venture a little further north you will come by the resort town of Forte di Marmi on your way to the magnificent Cinque Terra national park which is a must see destination. The island of Elba is a short ferry ride from Piombino.
