This 2 bedroom villa has its own garden and patio from which you can enjoy the views. The beach and sea are just a 5-minute walk away. You don't need the car to go to the nearby village either as it's easily reachable on foot. A short walk will take you to the condominium swimming pool & splash pool for small children with resident lifeguard (as in most residences, the pool is open in July & August). The property has air-conditioning, mosquito nets, washing machine, outside barbecue and spacious covered patio for al fresco dining.

Notes on prices
Prices are in euros and refer to the cost per week. They do not include the €100 final cleaning fee or laundry costs for any linen provided which could be as little as €13 per person per week for a supply of sheets, bath towels, bathmats, tea towels. Other items are available upon request.
Changeover day
We are flexible on changeover days but as a general rule guests are required to leave the property before 10am on their departure day and will have access to the accommodation after 3pm upon arrival. These times are flexible according to other bookings.

Accessibility
Like many residential areas along the coast, this villa is accessed by a short footpath and a few steps which may prove difficult for anyone with mobility problems. The twin-bedded room is reached by a stairway from the kitchenette/living room zone.
Outside
There is a large garden and covered patio area immediately outside the villa entrance with a brickbuilt barbecue. The washing machine is housed externally.
Coast/Beach
The Porto Luna beach is only 300 metres away so a short walk takes you to the white sand beach and crystal-clear sea. However, the entire coastline has easily accessible beaches and coves just waiting to be explored. The local yacht marina gives you the opportunity to take a pleasure boat trip either on a sailing boat or a restaurant boat with lunch included. You can also go scuba diving, fishing, sailing or surfing from here.
Golf
There are several golf courses in the province of Cagliari but the nearest one is the Tanka Golf Course at just a 5-minute drive away.
Travel
Villasimius is less than an hour's pleasant drive from the Cagliari-Elmas airport or the ferry port in Cagliari's centre. Olbia airport is approx. 3 and a half hours drive.
If you prefer not to hire a car, transport can be arranged from the airport to the property and vice-versa.
Distances
Villasimius can be reached by a brief walk from the villa for shops, restaurants, pizzerias, ice cream parlours, post office, banks. Other places of interest, for example Castiadas, are just a 10 -15 minute drive in the car. Cagliari is a 50-minute drive away and worth visiting for its splendid Roman amphitheatre, old part of town with quaint streets and castle area, upmarket shops and pubs. A guided tour with private bus service can be arranged.
Further details
Leisure activities include horse riding, with lessons for beginners or romantic dawn or sunset trips along the shore, golf, boat hire or excursions, water sports, quad-hire and so much more. Shuttle buses are available in the village to go to different beaches or the port. You will find abundant information on the various activities and entertainment available in the area in the villa.
Booking notes
30 percent of the total rental fee, sent by bank transfer, is necessary to secure the booking. The balance is payable in cash on arrival or by bank transfer no less than 30 days before arrival, along with the final cleaning charge, laundry fees & 250 euro damage deposit which will be refunded on departure provided no damage or loss has occurred & the property has been left in reasonable condition with all cooking areas cleaned. The damage deposit may be paid in pounds if preferred.

About the owner
I was born a long time ago in London but came to Sardinia in 1974 for professional reasons. I fell in love with the island, the people, the climate, and later on with my husband, Corrado. I have 2 children. The eldest, Stefano, lives and works in Paris. The youngest, Cristina, is still at home with us. I've completely changed my life style since I came here from the UK and I've even learned how to cook decently, and that's probably why I'm overweight! I work as a translator and interpreter and am often in schools teaching English. In the summer, I run my holiday venture for my own properties as well as those of relatives and/or friends who either live abroad or don't speak any English!
