Lucca is a medieval town and the ancient Walls surrounding it remind us of its many battles with the surrounding cities, in particular Pisa. Today the Walls offer a fantastic path for walking, running or cycling. Lucca also has 2 towers, the Clock Tower and the Guinigi Tower with its amazing olive tree on top. There are also many breathtaking churches, cathedrals and magnificent squares to admire and all within walking distance. use public transport for Pisa, Florence etc.

If you enjoy sightseeing, you can admire the Cathedral of San Martino and the many famous churches such as San Michele and San Frediano. There is also a good choice of banking facilities, a tourist information centre, an excellent choice of characteristic shops and restaurants all within walking distance.
